As I've said in my previous posts, last weekend was filled with lots of Steemit activities for me. Despite the fact that I was not feeling well cos I was treating malaria, I still made sure I attended all the events.

After the training on that same Saturday, Abuja steemians community held a meet-up at Crush Cafe in Gwarimpa which I also attended. On Sunday 27th of May, 2018 which was the following day was the children day. I joined other steemchurch parishioners to celebrate the Children's Day with the Special children at the Child Care Trust Foundation located at Bwari in Abuja. The Children's Day celebration was organized by steemchurch Nigeria.
Child Care Trust Foundation is was established by Late Chief Mrs. Stella Obasanjo (Former First Lady of Nigeria) to cater for children with special needs and disabilities.
It was a great event as it was a mixture of emotions and fun. The Children's were so happy and lively. The children kept dancing as the DJ was dishing out different song.
There were also different games played by the children and the children were also fed by steemchurch with delicious food. Also, the steemchurch leader @adedoyinwealth presented the gifts donated by steemchurch to the foundation.
We really enjoyed the company of the children and children were also happy. Steemchurch parishioners at the celebration were

The children are kids with down syndrome and special need. She always get excited when she sees food, so, that is how she reacts
It's the same with the son of my friend. Every time I visit their home, he recognizes me and you can tell how happy he is. He would grasp my hand and arm and stays with me throughout the visit. I cannot remember what I have done before that made him like me lol!
That is how they do. The Children were just hugging and shaking us as if we have known for long. In fact the did not want us to leave
I bet. I think they can feel kindred souls and spirits. Blessings be for the effort you do with these kids.
