The word of the Lord is very clear in relation to that. We have several gifts and several ministries. There is a division in the body of Christ, but it is that division that makes us so united. The church of Christ is made up of different gifts and ministries. If they were all the same, the church, the body, would not hold. It is not necessary for everyone to be good at one thing, but it is necessary that the church as a whole be good at everything.
Come on, imagine a corporation whose mission is to save lives. Those who crave this undergo rigorous physical, mental and intellectual training. In the course of the same, some are highlighted in a type of rescue that requires more skill; others that demand more strength; others that demand more value; other intelligence; other resistances; other persistence.
In short, everyone is finding each other. Now imagine if the whole group stands out only in one thing? How would the corporation be? Fail, I think. The goal is the same: save lives, but differences are necessary because they will sustain the body.
