Behind every doing in life there is a result and behind every disobedience there is a consequences. Disobedience didn't just start now it started from heaven when lucifer (satan) disobeyed God and he was sent down to earth as punishment which he is still suffering from till date but still it disobedience never stopped there, the first man in earth disobeyed God and he had his consequences which is affecting every mankind on earth. Our God is a very merciful God but yet we still disobey his words, no matter how close you are to God , God still punish whosoever that disobey him. Even king David in the bible who God said "is a man after his heart" was punished after disobeying his law 2Samuel 12 verses 9 - 4 . One major thing I love about king David is that he felt sorry for his disobedient but yet he never escape his consequences.
2Samuel 12 verses 9-14
9 KJV:Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. 10 KJV:Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. 11 KJV:Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. 12 KJV:For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun. 13 KJV:And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. 14 KJV:Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
Another man in the bible who lost his throne because of disobedience was king Saul 1samuel 15 verses 10-11 king Saul did not listen to God words he thought he could do it all alone so he end up in disobeying God.
God is happy to those who obey hos words and follow his way, that is why in 1samuel 15 verse 22 says that obedient is better than sacrifice. Nothing in life is better than obedience because obedience opens more doors of breakthrough, favour, divine healing and success in life. Being disobedient can lead to many negative effects in life for instance it can lead to death Romans 6 verse 23
23 KJV:For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Disobedience can never lead you to your destiny in life because disobedience does not work in line with God , only the devil who is the master of disobedience is always happy to see someone disobeying God.
Disobedience can go a long way in affecting someone's future in life even the generation as well, like king Saul who lost his throne through disobedience was also affected in his generation where his son Jonathan was killed because of his father's sin. No one can escape the sin of disobedience, another sense in bible that occur is Lot wife God gave a directive that Lot family shouldn't look back when leaving but the love of the world that Lot wife has she disobeyed God and turned into a pillar of salt which was her consequence Genesis 19 verses 23 - 26.
23 KJV:The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. 24 KJV:Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; 25 KJV:And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. 26 KJV:But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
Today people think that there is no consequences in disobedience and they keep on disobeying God's words but I will say to them that there is consequences in every evil being done. My dear brethren is time for us to start obeying and following God's way because a day will come when the consequences of disobedience will fall on those disobeying God's commandments and ways.

Thanks for the writeup. Looks like a continuation of a post I read few days ago. Disobedience definitely has it's consequences, we have to be watchful when it comes to obeying God.
nice post
This is amazing, disobedience is a sin that God really dislike, in fact we saw how he punished people who disobeyed him in the bible.
We saw how Jonah ended up in the belly of the Whale because of disobedience to God.
And also how Saul lost kingship, for disobedience too
As Christians we must learn to be obedience and listen to the voice of God, and never hesitating.
You are correct disobedience causes so many damages
There's always consequences for everything we do, God dislike disobedient, we must live our life to please him, is never too late to repent now, our God is merciful, nobody want to see the wrath of God
When saul disobeyed God during the war ,he was punished by removing him from the throne, there has been several occasions in the bible where disobedience was well punished and same is the case of the fallen angel and adam the first manm
God is forgiving, but there are punishments for those who curse Him.. So, stay off sin and give your life unto Him.. Why suffer when you can have everything good with Him?
Never you think that whatsoever you are doing is not watched by God .
God is perfect and he never disappoints .
Christ in his marvelous mercies is always ready to forguve us our sins.
A sinner will always be punished no matter how he runs from it .
Do things that will always make God not to get angry with you
This is alarming, but true :
DISOBEDIENCE can affect our future
Interesting post keepup
Jonah disobeyed and almost dragged a full fleet into the river. He paid by sleeping in the Belle of a fish for three days. Thank you for this insight @fredoski
Great reminder! The Lord values obedience more than everything else! Coincidentally I have posted a post regarding obeying God last night! Feel free to come check it out :) take care! Blessings!
