Depression is a therapeutic term used to depict a specific dysfunctional behavior. However, what we call depression today really existed long prior and is even recorded in the scriptures.
The sacred writing above gives us King Solomon's ideal portrayal of depression. He calls it a "pounded soul." The New American Bible interpretation makes it considerably clearer: "An euphoric heart is the wellbeing of the body, but a discouraged soul goes away the bones." A "squashed soul" is a discouraged soul.
The NET Bible interpreters express that "'Crushed' is a representation for the possibility that one's mind or will to proceed is pounded by conditions." Imagine a dirt container that tumbles to the ground and is so smashed that it appears to be difficult to put the little sorts pull out. That is the photo of a pounded, discouraged soul. Conditions show up so sad that we start to feel like our life is hopeless.
But God is the Divine Potter that can assemble each and every broken bit of our apparently pounded lives. He is the reason why we ought to have a blissful, happy heart as opposed to a pulverized and discouraged soul. He is the delight and seek that dependably forms our lives after great!

For those afflicted with depression, please understand you are not alone in your feelings, not going out of your mind, confusion is common, and the inexplicable black cloud can be lifted. A sad truth is that many Christians suffer from depression and either do not know it (they are miserable but do not know why) or cannot admit it because they think that would be admitting a spiritual problem. So, they suffer in silence hoping and praying for deliverance; but the consequences of doing nothing often result in further complications.

Depression is a state that causes different kinds of negative emotions, from sleeping all day, thinking negative, to thinking about death. In one way or another, we all live in different levels, however these are behaviors that we can control thanks to the spirit of self-control that God has given us, not letting ourselves be guided by our heart which is deceitful but guiding our hearts to ourselves where we want to arrive We must learn to move forward and extend our vision with positive and loving thoughts because these are the thoughts that God has for us.

They are darts of the enemy that arrive at the person at the moment in which they are bad or have some problem with the purpose of causing a depression everything has relation with the mind because the enemy to attack needs a weak mind, so you must be strengthened in God, firm at all times to unleash these fiery darts. When we fall into depression is to let ourselves be carried away by all the feelings that we have linked, it is a rebortura of feelings so you must be very careful with them since they can lead you to suicide, that is why God is always our strength and if we are with Despresion place is not there for you.
