We can define the deserts in the life of a child of God as the periods of trials and difficulties we all face. It is difficult to think that these deserts fulfill some purpose of God in our lives. However, the bible says that Jesus was taken by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the enemy.
And we can see that in (Matthew 4: 1) Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted by the devil.
But Jesus resisted the temptation, now the question arises:
WHY DID GOD ALLOW THAT WOULD HAPPEN TO HIS BELOVED SON JESUS CHRIST?
WILL GOD BE PLEASED TO SEE US TO SUFFER?
The answer to this question is a resounding NO! God loves us and if he allows something like this to happen to us, it is because God knows what is most profitable for us, and he knows that we have the proper training to leave aflote in the middle of the desert, that no matter the problem or circumstance in the that we find the always send the solution at the end of the road we will find its light which will always guide us.
(Deuteronomy 2: 7) For the LORD your God has blessed you in all that you have done; He has known your pilgrimage through this immense desert. For forty years the LORD your God has been with you; nothing you have lacked.
Each desert that we face tests our spiritual level, this means that we are tested in seeing what our identity is in Jesus Christ, and how firm we are standing on the rock that is Jesus Christ, if you are staggering it is sad, because it will be harder to get out of the desiento that is going through.
The deserts strengthens our weak areas, in a few words that if you do not pray you will have to pray more, you will have to seek more of the presence of Jesus Christ, seek God to increase your faith and get rid of everything that you afflicted.
God in the middle of the desert and the problems equip us with the purpose of being able to face bigger challenges, and be better Christians.
God teaches us to depend totally on him, that is not in my strength but in the strength of Jesus Christ, that we must continue ahead no matter what they say, regardless of whether or not you fall on the path to the goal teaches us to be firm and cinstante in achieving our goals!
(Luke 3: 4) as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah: VOICE OF THE ONE THAT CLAIMS IN THE DESERT: PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE RIGHTS YOUR PATHS.
Amen! “ If I had not been afflicted, I would not have known thy commands” Psalms 119.
