In the Bible we find the story of a man called levì (Matthew) who was a tax collector whom Jesus looked at the bank of public taxes and was pleased to call him through this word "follow me." This was enough for that man to get up when he heard that word in the mouth of Jesus and immediately got up and leaving everything followed.

Luke 5: 27-31
27 After this, Jesus went out and noticed a tax collector named Levi, sitting in the tax office, and said: Follow me. 28 And he, leaving everything, got up and followed him. 29 And Levi offered him a great banquet in his house; and there was a large group of tax collectors and others who were sitting at the table with them. 30 And the Pharisees and their scribes complained to the disciples of Jesus, saying: Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and with the sinners? 31 Jesus answering, said to them: The healthy ones do not need a doctor, but those who are sick. The Bible does not teach that it was exactly what he left to follow Jesus but it is important to know that he had a function and was to collect taxes and by then the tax collectors had a double standard since they were not honest in the collection and oppressed the villages.
It was evident that Levi needed Jesus to transform his life since the one he led was neither honest nor pleasant in the eyes of God and because every person needs Jesus to be able to regenerate and be forgiven for salvation.
Many people do not understand this and even in God's people we find people questioning others for their sins, however Jesus does not look at our sins to call us to repent because good said that the sick do not need a doctor.
It is also important to mention that when Jesus calls the man to follow him and he comes to his call immediately begins a new level of life in that person and begins to change. Not everyone receives this call but this man recognized his condition when Jesus calls him and joyfully follows him and immediately takes him to his house because when Jesus comes to someone's life he will also dwell in his house and this man made him big pothole nothing more and nothing less than the king of kings and lord of lords.
Jesus changes the life of man forever and is never the same again!
All that is needed is to follow Jesus to change his life and obtain salvation.
