Greetings community of Steemit many blessings, by reading this title, first of all, it comes to mind in King David, which Jehovah expresses in 1 Samuel 13:14 that Saul lost his reign and has chosen a man according to his heart . to be the new King of Israel.
It is estimated that David was around 16 years old when he was anointed by Samuel, and Jehovah had already declared that he had obtained the man according to his heart.
David was the one who grazed his father's sheep, during which time he learned a lot as a young man, fearing Jehovah and very brave, facing lions and bears to look after the sheep. In writing Psalm 23 we could say that he knew perfectly well how Jehovah would take care of Him and that nothing would be lacking since being imperfect David looked after his father's sheep the more Jehovah would do with him and with us.
At that time he who killed a lion and a bear with his hands was considered a prince in Israel but David did not lengthen those things, rather he remained in humility, with a worshiper and radical heart to the things of God. We can see that when confronting Goliath in his response he was very radical and had a communion with God. Then David said to the Philistine: 1 Samuel 17: 45-47
45 You come to me with sword and spear and javelin; but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have provoked.
46 The LORD will give you this day into my hand, and I will conquer you, and cut off your head, and today I will give the bodies of the Philistines to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the earth; and all the earth will know that there is a God in Israel.
47 And all this congregation will know that Jehovah does not save by sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands.
God seeks young people according to his brave, radical hearts that we let ourselves be carried away by the currents of this world.
