What is the prayer?
It is communion (communication with God) during it we must be aware that we are going to talk with the creator, and to believe and understand that God is with us when we pray, that is what makes prayer a vital thing.
In Luke 11: 1 we see how the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, this is where the Lord teaches us a prayer that could also be called universal prayer.
Below I will briefly explain what the word teaches us through our father.
1- Our Father who is in heaven (John 14:13) we see two fundamental points, first that is directed to the father and second that every prayer begins with an act of worship to him.
2-Hallowed be your name, it is a call of adoration, in prayer you ask God but at the same time you are giving worship to him (Psalm 150: 6) (John 4:23)
3-Come your Kingdom, when we make this exclamation we are asking that his kingdom of peace and abundance be established on earth.
4-Thy will be done (Isaiah 55:11) the prayer must be done in the will of God (1 John 5:14) (Luke 11: 9-10) He is faithful to his promises, if you ask and you do not receive it is because no have asked in their will, many complain that God does not hear them, most likely what you are asking is outside the will of God, cry for the will of God to be done in your life, Jesus himself moaned in getsemani
5-Our daily bread give it to us today, the prayer of success implies a daily contact with God, if as a servant you do not pray daily in abundance the strength of the darkness mobilizes against you and paralyzes you "The bread" God wants us to be dependent on him daily, the body suffers when he leaves a single day without eating, if you feed him several times a day that is temporary. How much more should you feed the Holy Spirit who is Eternal? Daniel prayed three times a day (Daniel 6:10).
6-Forgive our debts if God does not answer you, the bill says that God does not listen to the sinner, asks for forgiveness for any fault and he will forgive you, it is necessary that you forgive those who have offended you, because if you do not forgive the Father , he will not either (Matthew 6: 14-15).
7-Do not tempt us into temptation, all sooner or later we face temptation, if we pray as Christ commanded us we anticipate the temptation and get rid of evil, do not wait like some who pray when they are already in trouble (Prov.: 12) (Luke 22:43).
I believe faithfully in the power of Prayer !!
