Thanks for this message. Thus by humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. The world believes that the contrary is true. They believe that pride and corruption in despise of God's ways bring prosperity. They are ignorant of the fact that God created the earth, and the principles that govern the world are of and from Him. The devil did not create the earth, and so his ungodly principles of amassing wealth are not original; he only wants to twist God's principles to create his own. The earth will only respond faithfully and consistently to God's principles of wealth creation, not the devil's. the wealth that the ungodly are gathering far themselves is only temporal. The unchanging Word of God says the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just; which means they laid it up, but not for themselves. They only laid up the wealth for the just. The just is a righteous man who fears the Lord and walks in His ways. He does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the ways of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. It is worthy of note that anyone who amasses wealth to himself by ungodliness will not live long enough to enjoy it. He is laying it up for the godly. Those who embezzle public funds, or steal from their bosses, just to get wealthy cannot have the blessing of God on them; but those who humble themselves and seek the Lord by following His righteous ways, will increase in wealth, riches and honour; for God gives riches, honour and life to those who fear Him.
