II Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV - All Scripture is given by inspiration of God(YHVH), and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God(YHVH) may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
When a father gives his child instructions on how to navigate life, this is his way of demonstrating love; because that same father knows what or who waits lurking in those dark places. A fathers vast wealth of experiences which came to him through the years he has lived on this plane(t), he tries to be helpful by sharing what he knows. I believe most fathers would like to hope that his efforts will make a differences in his child’s life, especially when his child meets the world and the auto pilot kicks in, but Is that hope misplaced in this 21 century?
Good doctrine
Proverbs 4:2 NKJV - For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law(Torah/instructions).
Reproof
Proverbs 6:23 NKJV - For the commandment(Mitzvah) is a lamp, And the law(Torah) a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,
Righteousness
Deuteronomy 4:7-8 NKJV - “For what great nation is there that has God(Elohim) so near to it, as the Lord(YHVH) our God(Elohim) is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him? And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law(Torah/instructions) which I set before you this day?
Is your Heavenly Father one who wants to save you before you fall but instead picks you up, washes you off, and lets you try again? Is your Heavenly Father one who wants to keep you from making mistakes but instead lets you find your own way, even though His heart breaks in silence when you sin? Is your Heavenly Father one who holds you when you cry, scolds you when you break the rules, shines with pride when you succeed, and has faith in you even when you fail?
John 10:37-38 NKJV - If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”
Reflections:
When Yeshua/Jesus says “whoever does the will of YHVH(God) is My brother and My sister and mother.“ I don’t picture him teaching with a rebellious mind that we should follow something new, but I see a Son who loves His Father enough to help us know what the Father intentions are for our life’s.
John 15:9-10 NKJV - “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments(Mitzvah/instructions), you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments(Mitzvah/instructions) and abide in His love.
