”After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and
settling on him.’’
Matthew 3:16 (New Living Translation)
The dove symbolising the person of the Holy Spirit settled on Jesus. I find this significant for many reasons, one being that the dove of the Holy Spirit settled and did not fly away. It is so easy to take the things of the Spirit for granted and term them inconsequential or non-essentials, because we place more confidence in things we can understand by our physical senses. Sometimes we get carried away by our earthly qualifications and accolades that we trust in them over God’s Word. Unknown to many, the spiritual realm is the mother of the other realms we know of. There is a higher realm. Apostle Paul, speaking to the Corinthian Church:
so we fix eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18)
It is funny and sad to watch people scurry around man-made principles for solution to problems and challenges without realizing that these very principles have become stale. There are some principles that the devil stole from heaven, and perverted and handed over to men. These principles are still being used by such men who have placed their sole confidence in them. There is a better alternative which is
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favour from the Lord. Proverbs8:35
I would at this point urge you my dear reader, never to underestimate the value of God’s presence in your life. Do not venture out without His guidance. Don’t operate from principles, but from intimacy from His presence. If you look through the years, you would undoubtedly notice some setbacks and failures which you have experienced in your life, and which were the consequences of some bad decision making. What would have happened if you had gotten a clear revelation from God?
God is always right and always wise. He knows what is best for His children. But we must actively seek Him in all that we do so that we have good success (Joshua 1:8).
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
“HOW CAN WE WALK IN SUCH A MANNER THAT THE SPIRIT WOULD NOT FLY AWAY FROM OUR LIVES (AS THE DOVE DIDN’T LEAVE JESUS)?’’
SPREAD THE WORD………
Yes we at Steemchurch agree with you
There is absolutely high need to host His Presence
Nice little design by you there and we appreciate it

God knows what is best for us!.
Only if we can stay stuck on him
And listen to his every word, we would go far! In life
To the question of the day. My answer is; If your life is upright and you walk in the right way of the Lord there is no way the spirit would fly away. Because it will see itself manifesting in you and will continue to dwell in you for more manifestations of Gods work.
so we fix eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal
May God bless you 😍
The presence of the lord is the sweetest experience you would ever have in your life
God’s presence is the heavenly mercy that falls like drops of eternal love on the world. he is impeccable and the essence of his holiness demands reverent fear and respect from anyone who would even consider approaching his presence. Jesus christ was God manifested in the flesh so the people could see the proof of his word. We now see the character and image of his person through others who allow him to show his image.
Finally, the Christian life is all about laying down our identity and being filled with his presence.
Nice message @iwinosa....the presence of God is with every believer
God's presence should be ever present in us all.
It is a present help in times of trouble!
Great one mate!
if you are in your life according to the commandments and conscience that spirit will be with you forever.
""If thy presence does not go with us, bid us not to go Lord"
That's the cry of a man who understands the importance and value of the presence of God.
Unfortunately, today we care more about the state of our physical being and properties than our spiritual being. I pray the desire for the ancient ways comes back in our hearts.
On the question, the only way is to continually beholding Christ Jesus and remain in the vine.
Thank you.
@kayceesuave
thanks for this truth....Gods presence is always with his children as long as u are saved and you have faith in him
In my youth, I didn't seek God, but now I am blessed with His peace and so many other wonderful blessings. Thank you God for forgiving me and bringing me into your graces by the Lord Jesus Christ.
