Who is the devil?
The devil or the Satan as many may call him is regarded as a red-horned villain who is always there to go against the living God and the creator as some may tag him to be.
Many believers may tag the Satan as any spiritual being or creation which is deemed to decieve men, go against their God and is given the opportunity to punish those who have gone contrary to the will of God.

what the bible say about the devil
Isaiah 14:12-15
12How l you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart:
'I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the o mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north; 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.'15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the 3 lowest depths of the Pit.

Ezekiel 28:12-19
Son of man, m take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord GOD:
n "You were the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in o Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.
The workmanship of p your timbrels and pipes
Was prepared for you on the day you were created. 14 "You were the anointed q cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on r the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till s iniquity was found in you. 16 "By the abundance of your trading
You became filled with violence within,
And you sinned;
Therefore I cast you as a profane thing
Out of the mountain of God;
And I destroyed you, t O covering cherub,
From the midst of the fiery stones. 17 "Your u heart was 1 lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;
I cast you to the ground,
I laid you before kings,
That they might gaze at you. 18 "You defiled your sanctuaries
By the multitude of your iniquities,
By the iniquity of your trading;
Therefore I brought fire from your midst;
It devoured you,
And I turned you to ashes upon the earth
In the sight of all who saw you. 19 All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you;
v You have become a horror,
And shall be no w more forever." ' "

He has always been the source of all evil and desception which gave him the name the devil the bible further tells us about Satan in some scriptural chapters and verses up to 23 place in the bible and they includes.
1 Corinthians 7:5 1 John 3:8 2 Corinthians 11:3 Acts 5:3 John 8:44

the bible references above are the verses where the devil was mentioned in the bible
the devil influenced the first man and woman
The creation if God was perfect at the initial time and he gave the first man and woman conditions to take care of all his creations but apart from one thing which is the forbidden fruit.
The devil with his desceptive mind came to them according to the book of;
Genesis 3:1-5
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.
5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Adam and eve allowed their self to be decieved by the devil and they really regreted it because they lost the glory and gift of internal life God prepared for them at the initial of creation .
Never allow your self to be decieve as a Christian because you won't have anything to tell the lord as an excuses for the sins you commuted at the last day. He will definiatelly judge you according to your sins and works which you have done.
Jesus was able to resist the offer from the devil
Christ was able to set good example for us when he came to the earth as human to die for us . he was tempted by the devil but he was able to resist the temptation of the devil this is to show how important it is in our lifecas Christians to be aware and be able to resist any bid from the devil as seen from christ Matthew 4:1-11
We should always learn from christ because the more out spiritual life and our relationship with christ increase the
More the devil will want to make us his own .
Do not allow things you see on earth to decieve you because christ have come to conquer our enemy and deliver us from internal destruction.
Thank you for reading and may God save you from the hands of the evil one.
