THE OTHER SIDE OF JEALOUSY!

Admire others and make them your mirrors to show you that IT IS POSSIBLE, but HOW YOU GET THERE IS IN THE HANDS OF GOD. Don't compare your inside to someone else's outsides! The reason people struggle with insecurity is because they compare their "behind the scenes" with someone else's highlights. They compare their private lives to other people's public lives. They forget that another person's LIMELIGHT can be my DARKSIDE!

We all slip into this envy state every now and then. It happens at every level of "success" and every stage of living. DO YOU KNOW THAT EVEN SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ENVY THEMSELVES? I've known some very successful people who've been miserable people BECAUSE of their so-called success. We just don't know what's really going on in the world of others; so instead of comparing, you need to remember to steer the course of your own life.

The best comparison is to compare yourself to yourself. Like in the case of CAIN against Abel, jealousy/envy can be DANGEROUS (destructive) or it can be CONSTRUCTIVE. For me, I love them. Why? They become fuel for my fire. I turn envy around and use it for the betterment of myself. Jealousy is because of something you want and don't have, so I use it as a driving force. The light you see in others can help you see your own - and appreciate it.

Be happy for others! Let them shine! Do your own thing and have fun as part of the puzzle of life. Since God is Jealous, it means jealousy has another side - an advantage. Like a coin, turn jealousy over and have the other side - INSPIRATION. Envy/Jealousy can INSPIRE YOU! As 2018 runs on, let another person's testimony/shining cause you to be INSPIRED and not to PERSPIRE! Like does attract like and seeing other people's results are simply proof that your very own is right around the corner.

Whatever anyone else is, has or does is proof that you can be those things too. Envy no one! Wait for your season! It's so near! Something good is about to happen.

Cheers

Thanks @steemchurch for finding my post valuable.....
I appreciate

To avoid jealousy according to your message is almost as being patient

Some people entire lack that virtue

We really need to work on it

Thanks for sharing

Yes you are right @owoblow-steemit.....patient is virtue....impatient has made a lot of people to run ahead of God.....why envy them when you don't their behind the scenes life.

When you are jealous of something,it will slip away but being yourself and be contented has a lot of gain in it.

Thanks @omoyiwolabusayo for stopping by....

Very precise and nice post.
It's better to challenge yourself to become the best version of yourself than compare yourself with some other persons.

Kind regards.

My dear you just hit the nail on the head.

It's better to challenge yourself to become the best version of yourself....

That's the spirit....

@joagawu, jealousy is very destructive and has made many people lose what they have. That's why it's very good to work on it if anyone has it.

Thanks for sharing.

You are right there @evarich

There are many people who envy others and do nothing to grow themselves. They only look at the achievements of others and it bothers them because according to them they do well with others and they do not do well ... but the question is? What are they doing for their growth? The best way to end envy is to look at yourself in your failures to improve and your needs to cover them.

Wow!
Thanks for your wonderful comment....i appreciate

Being myopic, Jealousy would blindfold anyone to his or her own doom no matter the level of success you might have attained. Jealousy is not entirely a Sin except if you dwell on it with the impression of being better off...
