God is not just looking for people to bless, He is looking for people who will yield themselves to Him as a channel of His blessing to others. I love the words of American evangelist, Billy Graham:
God Has Given Us Two Hands-One To Receive With, And The Other To Give. We Are Not Cisterns Made For Hoarding, We Are Channels Made For Giving.
Also, John Wesley, one of the greatest blessings to generations past and generations to come, lived by these words which he penned:
All You Can Without Hurting Your Soul, Your Body, Or Your Neighbour. Save All You Can, Cutting Off Needless Expenses. Give All You Can. Be Glad To Give And Ready To Distribute, Laying Up For Yourself A Good Foundation Against The Time To Come, That You May Attain Eternal Life
When he started to work as a young man, John Welsey committed himself to give ten dollars to the Lord out of the hundred anf fifty dollars he was earning as annual income. His salary was doubled the second year but he continued to live on 140$, giving 160$ to christian work. During his third year, Wesley received $600. He kept $140, and give $460 to the Lord. He lived to give. He lived to be a blessing, and today, his impact is felt in many countries all over the world.
Hear this: Though giving is painful, no man can be a blessing to his generation if he is not a willing giver.
For God so loved the world that He gave......!
Walk in the steps of great women/men of old. Give your best, despite disappointment by men! At every OPPORTUNITY, be a blessing to souls around you! *Stop piling up money in banks for your children! How are you sure these children will not sell your houses/properties to vagabonds?
Mother Teresa said "Give to the gospel until it hurts (Mattew 23:35-45) has this for us:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me food, I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink,stranger, and ye gave me drinks,
Naked, and ye clothe me: I was sick, and ye visited me, I was in prison and ye came to unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer Him saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred and feed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Then the King shall answer and say unto them, verily I say unto you, in as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these brethren, ye have done it unto me.
In line with the above scriptures. We will find out that true service is the service to humanity. There are people i just met in steemit.....i don't even know that personally who has proven the understand and practice the principle of giving...In fact giving is in their DNA.
The first on my list is:
@Sirknight
His the Visionary founder steemchurch the first online blockchain......In line with his word....
The vision of steemchurch is to fight for freedom and liberty in the spirit of christ, -steemchurch has provided a platform for many under-privileged/poorly managed nations to earn STEEM with their talents and labours, thereby enabling these parishioners to improve their lives.
And he has proven it...people from all over the world came together as one under the umbrella of steemchurch....and none has come in contact with steemchurch without seeing a significant changes in their lives.
They have giving out generously.....pray and hope you will find the cheese you are looking out for.
Apostle @owoblow-steemit is also a giver....he work tirelessly to make sure that #steemchurch has another means of communication. He came out with what he tagged #steemchurchradio.....he didn't stop there he thought within him that can reach to every home because it's not every one can access internet...like the elderly person....and came out with #steemchurchdailydevotion

@gidolee
He came out with an idea of transforming #steemchurch willingly.....he said that steemchurch must grow in every angle and designed our steemchurch token. This is not like any any token but 'saint token'

@joagawu, this is so inspiring. God has called us to give, not just to receive. As we open our hearts to bless others, God increases us the more.
Thank you.
Yes...............you are right....there is more blessing in giving than receiving.
@joagawu, thanks for sharing this with us. Givers are always winners in life that's why the Bible tells us it's more blessed to give than to receive.
