Good day to all the friends of steemit, steem church, today I am going to share this reflection on the work and the Judgment of God in them.
For God will bring every work to judgment, along with every hidden thing, whether it be good or bad.Ecclesial 12:14
For God will bring every work to judgment, along with every hidden thing, whether it be good or bad.Ecclesial 12:14
Let's analyze little by little this biblical verse, in the first part it says "because God will bring all work to judgment", let's start with the meaning of work: Act of a person considered by his moral value or according to his religious beliefs.
we can see that work is all the acts that we do around us and that it produces some impact (so to speak) on that environment, this includes the people of our family environment, work colleagues, students, etc ... that brings consequences in our goods and / or possessions ... deterioration or valorization of them, well understanding this we can see that God will judge us by the things or acts that we do during our life, that is, what man has gestated in His heart and then I execute, be it good or bad, and that Heavenly Father will decide what reward he will give us for those facts, many times we think we can do what we want, as we want, even to hurt others or abuse in such a way that we can then be calm without receiving any reprehension for it, and sometimes we see how close people plan in these things without importing nothing only their benefit and then be calm in such a way that it is as if even God would not something about it.
But this attitude as judged by God?
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness; . Romans 1:18
Now we see how God can detest all evil and iniquity that man does, but what kind of works does God judge? All from a little lie to wicked acts through the Holy Spirit, since he is the one who searches the depths of the heart of man.
And when he comes, he will convince the world of sin, of justice and of judgment. . John 16: 8
As I wrote previously, the Holy Spirit will be in charge of scrutinizing the heart of man and of alleviating evil, but it will be up to each of us to let ourselves be carried away so that the mercy of God will reach us and it will be our guide.
Now, in the second part of the main verse says "along with every covert thing, be it good or bad", many times the human being thinks that he can commit all kinds of acts secretly with the intention that nobody knows the seriousness of the matter and even think that he can hide it from God himself (as if He is not omnicient), for me to think that is due to two things:
1- fear: with this feeling is for not wanting to know what others will say and even more for the fact of knowing what is the consequence of what was committed.
2 - shame or embarrassment: this because it can be frowned upon in front of the environment and even to continue showing an appearance that others know and do not see what it is capable of.
God will judge the works that are hidden and give judgment for them, there are cases where they are revealed and brought to light but not for the shame of anyone but for restoration and a new walk in God.
Even He will give us judgment for the good works because everything under the heavens has its reward, but when man commits evil acts and seeks from the heart the forgiveness of Him will have yaq that His word says in:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.. 1John 1: 9
Only the search for Him we can continue and be forgiven of all our failures in front of his presence.
And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven..Santiago 5:15
we must stay close to God despite everything

Yes, God will judge our works. This passage makes it clear.
(1 Corinthians 3:11-15 NIV) For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. {12} If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, {13} his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. {14} If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. {15} If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
