At a certain moment, I saw on TV the images of one of the modalities of athletics, I was impressed to see the scene, because for me it was something unusual, it was a career of the visually impaired. I loved what I saw, and I found very interesting the fact that each one had an assistant, they ran together and hand in hand.
As it is written in the letter to Hebrews 12.1-2:
"Therefore, we also, having around us so great a cloud of witnesses, let us shed all weight and the sin that beset us, and let us run with patience the race that lies before us,
Looking at Jesus, author and finisher of the faith, who, for the joy that was proposed to him, endured the cross, despising the insult, and sat at the right hand of the throne of God. "
It is so that we, who have been called, must run the race that God has proposed for us ... without shame, without weight, without sin, without delay, without pain, without looking at the circumstances, without resentments, or any other thing of this kind. But, hand in hand with the Holy Spirit, who is our HELPER.
We have to take those runners as examples, making us "blind" to the system of the world, and connect with the system of the heavens. But we are only going to transform the earth if we touch heaven, and for this it is necessary to look firmly to Jesus, author and finisher of our faith.
Prayer and meditation on the Word are also necessary requirements for this. And holding firm in the hands of the Lord, trusting totally in him, without fear, but with perseverance, we will reach high places, because next to him is that we are sure that we will run in the right way. God has plans, projects and purposes for each one of us, and if we are within that it is much easier to move forward and complete our career successfully.
We need to understand the purpose for which we were called, and when that happens, nothing can stop, the way is free, and we will not lose time with the "pesos". We are free in Christ, we have to stick to Him. It is not enough to run, you have to complete!
As the Apostle Paul said:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (II Timothy 4,7).
Let us be persevering, obedient, faithful to the Lord, and thus we will complete our career. Break limits, overcome barriers and go beyond the brand.*
Very true what you say Joseph, when people lose spiritual guidance, runs blindly, and it is possible that Christian values aside to follow a path that ultimately is not desired by God.
