Road users come across traffic signs that are particularly helpful. Those signs keep you and others safe, and they may be your escape from racking up fines. Besides, they assure you that you are on course to your destination. It is not any different when we walk with God. He brings us assurances from time to time. Our lead scripture was one of God's assurances to Abraham.
"I am your shield", God assured him. A shield is a piece of armor used as a protection against arrows,bullets, or other weapons. Usually it is worn on the arm and positioned in front. When God told Abram that he was his shield, it simply means God chose to be his defense.
This is where we come in, whatever God was to Abram. He is willing to be his offspring. There are two sides to this, there are physical offspring, through faith. The promise that God gave to Abram was not only to him but also to his seed. Arguably then, God is a shield to all who are of the faith of Abraham. A seed of Abraham can boldly say, "God is my shield"! we can say by faith that God is for us, and we shall not fear what man will do to us. God's shield is impenetrable; as long as we abide in the confines of his grace we are safe.
Christians—Are those who follow Jesus Christ—are called “believers,” but many times we are more like them unbelieving believers. We trust our friends and family, finances,and our own ideas more than we put trust in God and His Word.
And this is what leads us to the why? Why is it necessary to trust God? When we accept Jesus christ, we give up doing things our own way and trust that He(Jesus) is going to work things out for our own good. The moment may not always feel good and nice, it may not even look like there’s a way for it to work out, but when we all surrender our worries, fears and concerns to Him, it demonstrates our complete trust in Him and He never ever lets us down! In fact, many times the Bible links the idea of trust with having complete faith.

Through time in the bible, there has been times when God saved his people miraclously. Which in turn goes a long to tell us to trust in God.

Hmm, well written, but much as I want to trust God and believe He truly is my shield, sometimes it's hard too.
Sometimes He seems so, so, far away and You wonder if He even heard Your cries.
In all, He comes through at the last minute though, so I guess it's safe to say He heard when you called.

He truly loves us and he looks after us. When he knows that we can handle the situation he won't interfere but when he sees that the situation is out of control he comes to rescue us. I've too felt this many a times. Whenever I'm struggling and situation seems too tough i just close my eyes take a deep breath and call out for lord. And it seems he is always around.
If dont make good sacrifice to the living god we may find our self not getting what hr prepares for us .
Abraham was ovet willing to offer god everything he has including his only son.

You are alive. You are here. This means that God has provided for you and given you what you needed your entire life until now. His track record is flawless. You wouldn’t be where you are right now if it wasn’t for God’s loving care for your life.
No more doubt when it comes with our God. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, God will not give you something to bring you down but to make you even tough to face the real life. His endless love is our life. He's always looking on each and everyone, no matter how hard it is to live. Do not forget to thank him and ask for forgiveness.

We must trust god because god is our saviour.and he protects us even though we have many sins committed.
I ride extensively to some of the remote areas and broken paths and each time i reach home safely; my belief in god becomes more strong. Breakdowns are common on road but then getting help right after there's breakdown in areas where I didn't cross a single human in 6 hrs. thats's miracle and thats where God is.
I'm currently posting about my 3500 kms ride to Himalayas on a 20 year old motorcycle with people I met barely for few hours before the ride.
