Text:I Cor'12: 18
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him
Trying to be someone else is fake, keeping up with fake life is suicide,so why the trouble?! . Every person has specific gifts, talents and strengths. The book of Corinthians asserts, "Each man has his own gift from God." Incredibly, many actually 'spend their entire lives trying to change the way they were made. The Bible says when God made us it pleased Him .If God is pleased, shouldn’t we be too? Marcus Aurelius said, "Take full account of the excellencies which you possess and in gratitude remember how you would hanker after them if you had them not." Too many people overvalue what they aren't and undervalue what they are. William Matthews was right when he said, "One well-cultivated talent, deepened and enlarged, is worth 100 shallow faculties."
Lost of "time spent worrying and wanting to change what you're not; if spent judiciously on developing your talent or skill, you'll be amaze what you'll become" as Kimani Fantox put it. too many people take only their wants into consideration, never their talents and abilities. Deep down inside, if you are a musician, then make music. If you are a teacher, teach. Be what you are and you will be at peace with yourself. EB. Cummings advised, ”To be nobody but yourself -in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else-means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting." Abraham Lincoln said it best: "Whatever you are, be a good one." And as John Mason said "be yourself, who else is better qualified?
