There was a group of women gathered in their weekly Bible study, and as they read the book of Malachi they found a verse that says, "And he will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver," this verse intrigued me greatly about what it might mean this affirmation regarding the character and nature of God. So I am interested in investigating the process of purification of silver.

That week I researched what I could about that process, videos, publications, experiences told by people who cook this process. Do not mention the details about the true reason for my questions, I just said that I was curious about the purification of the silver.

While my friend told how it was the precess of holding a piece of silver on the fire leaving him to warm up intensely, he explained to me that to refine the silver, it should be held in the middle of the Fire where the flames burn with more force, in order to remove the impurities .

At that moment I imagined God holding us in a place like that of Caliente.-Then remember once more the verse "And He will sit as a founder and purifier of silver."

I asked my friend if it was true that he should remain seated in front of the fire for as long as the silver was refined.

My friend replied- "YES" Not only should you be sitting there holding the silver, you should also keep your eyes fixed on it during the time it is on fire, if the silver was left a moment longer than necessary it would be destroyed.

I kept silent for a moment and then asked. - How do you know when it is completely refined?
He smiled and replied: "Ah, very simple - When I can see my image reflected in it."

If today you feel the heat of the fire, remember that God has his eyes on you and will continue to watch you until he sees his image in you.

What tranquility we can feel when we know that God loves us and that everything that allows us to spend in our lives is for our good and for our benefit, our human nature is very difficult to accept those difficult moments but how necessary they are to learn and mature , it is worthwhile to allow him to work the results if they are the best.
