Before us stretches an inheritance of ineffable blessings that none of these vivid metaphors can describe in their entirety; infinite sources of blessing, because the springs and streams are but figures of the infinite grace of God. Because with Him is the source of life.
A fountain that is filled with eternal springs!
They speak to us of an inexhaustible supply: "bread without scarcity", the olive oil that speaks of the Holy Spirit, the honey that speaks of the sweetness of their love, and the pomegranates, which are the fruits of sowing that speak of a life that reproduces itself in the blessing of others.
They speak of the "bottom sources" that flow from the depths of sadness in difficult places, in desert places, in lonely places, in simple places that seem to be further away from everything that is sacred and divine.
How delicious it is to have the joy of God in the low places of sadness and to be able to glory also in the tribulation!
They tell us of delights that spring from the depths of the test, treasures torn from the hand of the enemy.
How precious are the springs that flow to the places of temptation !, because there is nothing in life as difficult as the touch of the hand of Satan and the breath of the destroyer. Oh, how sweet it is, even there, to find that the light is as intense as the shadow and that the sky is closer when we are closer to the gates of hell! So we can have great joy when we find ourselves in various trials and say: "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; because when he has withstood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. "
What a blessing it is to drink from the springs of health and find that our strength is renewed day after day and that the life of God flows even within our organs and our physical functions!
"All my sources are in you!"
Beloved, God has these springs for us and we need them every day. Let's drink from the living water. Even more, we receive that water within our very heart so that we can take it wherever we go.
We will never be "springs" until God comes to us. We will never be renewed, fruitful or useful for others until God visits us. If we do not experience constant visits from God, we will soon cease to be "springs" and return to the ancient days of dryness and barrenness.
Let us reclaim our heritage in the coming days and discover that the most difficult places in life's experiences are God's greatest opportunities and the most powerful challenges of faith.
The springs in the desert are not very common; But He will give us both the sources above and the sources below!

Amen for that word, God is eternal life and reminded me of this powerful passage: Jesus says: He who believes in me as the Scripture says, rivers of living water flow (John 7:38). )
