Hey community, I want to share with you a little reflection that I have been thinking about recently.
The Lord said to him: Be of good courage, Paul, because as you have testified of me in Jerusalem, it is necessary that you also testify in Rome.
Acts 23:11.
Are you one of the witnesses of the Lord and are you now in danger? Remember that you are immortal until your work is finished. If the Lord wants you to continue to bear witness to Him, you will live to give it. Who can break the vessel that the Lord wants to use?
If your Master does not entrust you with any work, do not regret that he takes you to his dwelling where the darts of your enemies will not arrive. Your main business is to bear witness to Jesus, and no one can stop you from doing this until it is finished. Therefore, live quietly.
The vile slander, the falsehood, the abandonment of friends, the betrayal of those in whom you have entrusted, everything that could happen to you, can never twist the designs that the Lord has on you. The Lord protects you on the night of your affliction and says to you: «Thus it is necessary that you testify».
Calm yourself and rejoice in the Lord. If you do not need this promise now, maybe you'll need it tomorrow. Save it as a treasure. Remember to pray for the missionaries and for the persecuted so that the Lord will keep them until they finish their work in this life.
Today I am sure that he will open new doors for me to minister and when he opens them, I will enter with confidence and security.
Lord, Thank you for helping me to see life in a different way and to be sure that as long as I have life, you will open new doors for me. Amen.
