Deuteronomy 18: 15-22 RVR1960
15 Prophet from among you, from your brothers, like me, Jehovah your God will raise you up; to him you will hear; 16 according to what you asked of Jehovah your God in Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, "You shall never again hear the voice of my God, nor see this great fire again, lest it die." 17 And I said: They have spoken well in what they have said. 18 Prophet, I will raise you up from the midst of your brothers, like you; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he will speak to them all that I will command him. 19 More than anyone who is not my words to speak in my name, you will ask him for an account. 20 The prophet who has the presumption to speak with the word in my name, someone who has no one who can speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, the prophet will die. 21 And if you say in your heart, How do we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken? 22 If the prophet speaks in the name of Yahweh, and what he said has not been fulfilled, and has not happened, it is a word that Yahweh has not spoken; with presumption the prophet spoke; do not be afraid of him.
The revelations that God makes to his people through his prophets are very frequent, so real and direct that they usually surprise those who still do not know his word.
Today I want to dedicate this post to one of them.
A few days ago some brothers in Christ were praying a woman from our community who is now convalescing, for which they invited their relatives to share in prayer.
While there one of the sisters went to the biological sister of the sick woman and said: "Jesus sends this message" take care of your son, I see him bathed in blood with a white shirt and three shots in his chest "and he does not he said more.
After the words to the lady to whom they made the revelation, she was very surprised and nervous, immediately the group of sisters continued praying to break curses, witchcraft, evil, revenge.
The mother says that one afternoon her son came and said: "Mommy, the white shirt that I am going to work" and she who was alerted by the sister said "no son, do not wear that shirt!" He had told his son what happened, his son's response was: "Mom, do not worry, I'm not going to miss anything, you've spent several days, throw me the blessing!".
The young man left and decided to stay that night where his brother because they had to travel in the early hours of the morning for work.
That night a special commando force arrived at his brother's house looking for him, he was mistaken for an antisocial and he was murdered with three shots, without giving him the opportunity to clarify his identity.
When they sent a notice to his mother, he went to the emergency room where he was taken, and when he got there his son was lying dead with three shots and had a white shirt when he died.
The woman went into a crisis and blamed herself for not protecting her son enough, said that God had warned her and that she did not pay enough attention to her son, who died young at the age of 21.
In this case the word of God came through the sister prophet. God revealed to her, she spoke to her so that she in turn would give this message to this lady about what could happen to her son.
However, only God knows our hearts and although it seems to be full of many mysteries it will not take us long to discover the answers about the many questions and doubts that he leaves us in his message and in turn learning about it.
In the same way God reveals his will to his church through the intermediation of his prophets, so that he may fill the message to his children.
Why must we have fidelity to our Father, so that he allows us to receive revelations that help us and guide us in our needs and that we are faithful witnesses of it.
Although the Holy Bible warns us about false prophets!
The false prophet who announces events that are never fulfilled. In the old testament the death penalty is established for announcing false prophecies (Deuteronomy 18: 20-22).
Another false prophet is one who demonstrates an impeccable presence of power of conviction, power of expression and mastery of words. In fact, it is very dangerous to seek to alienate the hearts of the people of our creative father, so that they worship and serve other gods (Deuteronomy 13: 1-3).
Ezekiel 13: 3
"Thus says the Lord GOD: 'Woe to the prophets who are still their own spirit and have seen nothing!
So, we must be clear that there are prophecies that come from God, but other false children come from the devil, who stalk the ignorant and even Christians manage to confuse their arguments and believe that it is true.
What should we Christians do?
Ask from the depths of our hearts that we never lose faith in God, in his word, that strengthens us and helps us make the best decisions, humbly request in the name of Jesus that everything we receive comes from God, that we of understanding and discernment to understand his messages and to guide us to be close to him and be able to show him.
