Often times in life, we are plagued with figuring out who exactly we are and what we are supposed to do with our lives. That is what is our purpose. It can be really fustrating at times? You feel lost, confused even. We find ourselves in situations where we are figuring out what to do with our lives, why were we born in the first place. And who am I supposed to be.
Whenever I find the need to asnwer the question who I am to myself. I make reference to the bible. Anything contrary to what the bible tells me I regard it as a lie so I don't believe it. For example, if someone tells me I'm ugly, that's a lie because my bible tells me, I'm altogether beautiful without a flaw (some versions say without a blemish, spot) 😊 songs of solomon 4:7. And also my bible tells me I am God's masterpiece Ephesians 2:10. And so many others. So in answering the question Who you are, consult with what God thinks you are. That's what matters the most. Learn to see yourself as God sees you. Your identity does not depend on what you do or have done or what a person says you are. But rather, on what God says you are. You have to agree with him that:
• You are the righteousness of God in Christ 2 Corinthians 5:21
• You are loved Ephesians 2:4-5, 1 John 4:10, Romans 5:8-9, John 3:16. Mind you, this love is a faithful, unfailing, neverending kind of love. Psalm 109:2, 2 Timothy 2:13
• You are a child of God. John 1:12, Romans 8: 14
• You are joint heirs with Christ Romans 8: 17
• You are complete in Jesus Christ. Colossians 2:10
• I am far from oppression, and fear does not come near me (Isaiah 54:14).
• I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16;Philippians 2:5)
• I have the Greater One living in me; greater is He Who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4
Definition of purpose by Pastor Emmanuel Iren: purpose od's that thing for which you were created, and at which you must succeed, if not, nothing else yout succeed at will count.
It is important we know our purpose in life and focus on fulfilling it.
Only one things defines you: Christ. You were created to live for him, to know him and to lead others to do same. 2nd corn 5:15
Your life centred purpose should define amd shape your decisions and relationships.
Coming to the knowledge of God and live a life to help other to do so is the most important thing we can do with our life.

We are new creations in Christ Jesus. We will live victorious lives only if we know and maximise who we are in Christ.
