In the world we are always scratching to get to the top. Many are not concerned on how they get to the top and how many are harmed along the way. Climbing the ladder of success is the goal.

God’s Kingdom ways are always diametrically opposed to the ways of the world. When you become part of God's Kingdom you realize that everything seems upside down. But really His Kingdom and His Ways are right side up and the world’s way are what are upside down.

Love Covers a Multitude of Sins

First thing the love that was expressed to the world was when God sent His Son to die as a ransom for our sins.

Pro 17:9 He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.

If we catch a person in sin, do we tell everyone. As Christians we know we should not gossip. Or we could know this. So what we do is disguise our gossip as a prayer request. “Oh, please agree with me in prayer, I just saw Jim coming out of a bar with someone I did not recognize”.

Love covers a sin.
This does not mean you don’t go talk to “Jim” and help him.

One time years ago, I was called by a friend to help them find their daughter. We were looking everywhere. Dance halls and bars. That night you would have seen me enter and leave 10 or more clubs. The gossip would go crazy over something like this. But a real brother would try to help me, pray for me and never tell another soul (cover me). I was not doing anything wrong! But if I were, Love would try to restore and would cover (keep secret) this transgression.

That's right, brother, when we love, we help to get out of sin and we do not sink it anymore. But the world usually prefers to sink more to they neighbor, instead of wishing the best for its brother.
