Ephesians 4:1-14 New International Version (NIV)
Unity in the body of Christ
4 Therefore I, who am imprisoned for the Lord's sake, beseech you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, 2 always humble and kind, patient, tolerant of one another in love. 3 Strive to maintain the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as they were called to one hope; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.
We are called to make a church in unity, worshiping a God in one spirit, we must understand that the same God together with his spirit is everywhere, wherever we go and walk. But in order to be gleeful there must be unity, to be one with God loving our brothers and sisters the best witness we can give is that of our house of worship because a Christian cannot go and preach the word but has unity and lives in disagreement with his church and his authority. A great preacher is one who loves his house of worship and lives under a cover that he knows is directed by God, helps and loves his brothers for the better and restores them by setting an example to others. God teaches us in his word that when he comes he will come to his church to seek a church that is in unity that is one body, one spirit and one humility worshipping the same God. As a bridegroom treats his bride God treats his church, because we often fall 7 times but God raises us up 7 times. Because he observes the willingness of change in our lives so that each day we may be one with Christ; that with his beautiful testimony that when walking the earth he showed us that we can live in holiness to please God.
God wants his church to remain united without blemish, he comes for his girlfriend whom he loves. Thanks for sharing.
