What brings us to poverty

We must prepare ourselves for all the good that will come, because one thing is that God wants to give us the best and another is that we are ready to receive it. If God gives you a partner, are you preparing to love, respect and provide for him? Many do not receive more blessing because they lack preparation of character and heart.

The first thing is to leave laziness aside, since plenty of misfortune is in the lazy's house. We know that poverty is not good or desirable. Nobody likes to spend penalties to provide for their family or to realize their dreams. Therefore, we must get rid of the idea that prospering is not good. If we consider that being economically well is not necessary, why do you send your child to school? If it is good to be poor, let us ask the government to lower the minimum wage, but it is not good, many bad things derive from poverty: lawsuits, robberies, even wars, so it is necessary to learn to be diligent and to improve ourselves economically.

Many things can be lost for lack of good decisions. God has given us the talents to produce and prosper, but we must learn to work hard, otherwise, we commit sin, we are as evil to waste our talents and what it was for us will reach another just man who knows how to take advantage.

It is also crucial that we teach our children. The Lord speaks in Proverbs of a correction that refers to economic education because it relates to the financial area. I thank God because my mother taught me to be ordained with my finances, since childhood I was taught economic wisdom.

Education is for all, men and women, but especially for women it is important since they manage the household economy and are the first teachers of the children. Woman, bless your home with good administration, so that God can provide you what you need to build your house.

The Word insists that it is necessary to separate ourselves from the foolishness and indiscipline that are bad and that bring poverty and shame. Let yourself be advised by the Lord, who wants to teach us about discipline and good habits in every way, including finances to achieve honor. Tell the Lord: I will appreciate every word of every teaching you give me, I will treasure them, I will rebuke shame and poverty. "

Thinking about abundance is not bad, it's about diligent people! It is to give a good testimony of our faith, because the person who does not think things, who lacks good judgment, quickly gets carried away by his impulses and misuses his assets. In addition, the Word warns us not to go looking for deals based on lies, because not only is it sin, but it leads to death. As you can see, thinking about prospering is a serious matter, it is not bad, it is correct. Many people get into trouble because they have not been able to prosper as God intended. He wants your well-being in every way, and that you achieve it in the right way. Of course, the love of money is sin and leads to destruction, because our intention must be correct, not to have to treasure but to share. We must correct economic behavior, not covet or live only to make wealth. We must also learn to live happily with what we have, strive to have a better quality of life, but not live on appearances as long as everyone believes in an economic welfare that is a lie. The effort and the truth must always prevail.

Plan your expenses! Do not buy for anxiety. At home, with your husband, ask yourself: what will they have, how much will they have, what will happen if they do not? It is worth doing so that money does not affect your happiness or your family. You must have a goal, do not get carried away by offers or impulses, and then live frustrated, bitter and envious of what others achieve. Listen to the teachings of the Lord and learn to say no when they ask you to make an expense beyond your means. Being honest is not shame, on the contrary, poverty and shame await you if you do not measure yourself.

The wise man does not waste buying others, and makes the most of what he acquires. The Lord Jesus, with all His power, collected what was left over in the baskets when He multiplied the loaves to feed the multitude. So learn to get the juice out of what you have, that will lead you to a just and abundant life [8].

To conclude brothers we know that God gives us abundance and wealth to share and help those we most need, also says his word that if in the little you were faithful in how much He will put you, remember that day when that widow brought in the synagogue two white it was the only thing that I had, while the priests and the Pharisees contributed a lot of money but that was what they had left, however that woman gave everything she had and what she had, this called the attention of the Lord Jesus, and she says her word that He has mercy on those who have mercy, this woman demonstrated her great faith to God, trusting that God will give her all that she lacks because every day she has her own eagerness.

Thank you for your comment brother bigssam, God bless you

It not the will of GOD for us to be poor, God I the maker of all that are rich. I learn from this intriguing content that laziness is the father of poverty, bad companied of friends also retards us.

great post

God wants us to be rich in faith and spiritual maturity. Citing Old Testament verses about the promises made to ISRAEL has little to do with us as Christians in the modern world.

2 TIMOTHY 3:16: All Scripture is inspired by God and useful to teach, to reprove, to correct, to instruct in righteousness. God bless you

If God is our Father and we are his children then we have inheritances and promises of abundance and prosperity in all things,

3 John 2: Beloved, I desire that you be prospered in all things, and that you be healed, just as your soul is in prosperity.

God wants us to be rich with a right heart

Jesus paid the price of our sins, our diseases, poverty, bad thoughts, He wants us to be rich in all aspects of our lives and we can use those gifts, talents and money to help the weak and needy, as well as one day. we were needy in all God used an instrument a son of his to raise us and make us know his love through the sacrifice on the cross. Money is not sin, it is sin to love money, money is only an instrument that we can use to do good.

"God bless you and I hope this word fill the best ground of your heart and that of abundant fruits up and deep roots down in the name of Jesus Christ"
Amen brother. You've really struck me with this post. God bless

To be poor is not the wish and will of God it is the cause and action of the devil and his encounter
Believing in God and doing His will alwayswill make you very rich in both the truth and in spirit

nice content, poverty is a bad thing being not able to care for your immediate needs because of lack of resources.
This is caused by laziness, and maby other factors that were pointed out here. Thanks

Poverty is a state of mind. We relate to it in different ways. Good Health is riches, if not what is the essence of money without Good health.

The one that despises the advice, Proverb 13:18: "Poverty and shame will have the one that despises the advice; But he who keeps the correction will receive honor. "What is it that leads me to poverty? When I despise advice, what someone says to me, especially someone who knows maybe a little finance. I remember that when I got married, my father-in-law said to me "look, you have to save, you have to give me 10 thousand pesos, these 10 thousand pesos we are going to put into a savings account and then you have to pay so much each month". I went with my wife and said "what's up with your dad?" No, that's not true. I said to him, "It's okay, I'll take the consequences, but if you let me, I married your daughter" and he said yes, I got married. We keep saving, we keep putting something in the box, but I could have said "no, well, who are you?"; Well, I was almost an ex-president of a bank, I knew a little bit of finances and we should pay attention to those who know a little more.

What brings poverty? There are 7 things and there are many other things. But the first is lack of discipline. Proverbs 21: 5: "The thoughts of the diligent certainly tend to abundance; But everyone who rushes madly, certainly goes to poverty. "The Bible says that the person who is diligent will have abundance. A person with discipline, a person disciplined in their expenses will have plenty. But, that person who is compulsive does not; There are people who are more compulsive than others, but we are all compulsive. Nobody likes to be sold, but everyone wants to buy.

What a nice, explicit, frank and sincere talk on causes of poverty and abundance living, thanks @michellechristie.

The Bible says that the person who is diligent will have abundance.
You've really struck me with this post. God bless
thanks for sharing this posts

@michellechristie So many lessons embedded in this post.

I think laziness (or idleness) is the major cause of poverty. Even God has a distaste for it (Matt 20:3.).

Be diligent. Never be unemployed for a minute.
John Wesley

Also, concerning our finance, personal budgeting is very essential.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice article

Poverty is a big problem as we see nowadays rich people are becoming more rich while the Poor's are getting more down and that's a very bad thing happening!

This is a great lesson. But see more here:

Proverbs 11:24-25 KJV
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. [25] The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

If you extensively maximize the little you are given by God, be of expectant of greater one from Him.

His words have touched my heart. It really was the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. God is the one who knows all things, God bless him greatly.

Yes, it's good to work hard and be wise with your money. But God doesn't promise us financial blessings. God can bless those who follow him closely but those blessings aren't necessarily financial. God doesn't promise to make us rich. This is more what the New Testament says:

(James 2:5 NIV) Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?

(2 Corinthians 11:27-28 NIV) I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. {28} Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches.

There are some people who want to be Christians because they see it as a way to get rich. They're dead wrong.
