STEEMCHURCH: LETTER TO THE EXILES- HAPPINES ADS

in #steemchurch7 years ago (edited)

From the place where you are, I hope you are blessed by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. You find yourself in victory.

In addition to this I want to thank once again @sirknight and @steemchurch for this beautiful initiative, which since the first day I wrote I'm doing mine.

God has been a wise and just being, he not only left his prophets to echo his existence but showed all those who believed in him his infinite power. A power that opens seas, multiplies fish and transforms water into wine. That is why I maintain that whoever does not believe is simply because he does not want to.

Jeremiah, was a prophet who comes from the family of priests. He lived a very turbid time full of conflicts and insecurities, very similar to ours, so it seems important to talk a little about what he professed for a town full of chaos. Although he was very young and did not feel capable of Being a prophet, he trusted in God who told him that he would give him the tools to carry out his arduous mission.

The security that he felt when he was in God's presence was infinite, because he made him a very strong prophet of conviction and spirit. Maybe at some point he broke, but you have to remember that he was just a man

A Letter to the Exiles

This is the text of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders among the exiles and to the priests, the prophets and all the other people Nebuchadnezzar had carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.
his is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: 5 “Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. 6 Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. 7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” 8 Yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. 9 They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them,” declares the Lord...
... For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.

We live in a world where problems suffocate us, we are on the verge of a collapse in the whole humanity. It seems that the problems that afflict us are only increasing, that is why today more than ever we need to cling to the words of Jeremiah that are nothing but the word of God, we need some words of hope.

We have to remember that all those misfortunes that have happened on earth are the work of man, of his bad decisions and so we have the power to reverse all the harmful things that surround us and make the world a better place for us and our descendants or unless we are able to be blessed under the grace of God after the final day.

Once again God showed that he is a noble and invaluable being, that if his nation needs him, he will be. And no matter how bad the catastrophe is, the sun always comes out again and God will be guiding us by the hand on his path.

If we feel despair, despair or any emotional issue that disturbs us, we pray to God that he will listen to us. In the same way in time of joy, we implore him for his infinite grace

Jeremiah 17: 7-8
"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
That sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has not worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit. "
