In Genesis 26 vs 4 - 5
And I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and I will give to your seed all these lands; and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in your seed. Because Abraham heard my voice, and kept my commandment, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
God promised Isaac a multitude of blessings but a bad decision could jeopardise our relationship with God.
We shouldn't make decisions in a haste or out of fear, trust God and everything will eventually work out.
God is our security and our sustenance
