STEEMCHURCH:Jesus, what do you say: Concerning Trials: will they ever come?

in #steemchurch6 years ago

We all want a good life that is free of anything unpleasant, we all want the best for ourselves, no one will willingly go with something bad, we all want good things.. So, experiences won't help us in justifying the question that will trials ever come? image

To get the right answer, we will look at Jesus, our savior, what he says concerning this matter and how we could also establish this in the epistles.

Our Lord Jesus has this to say:
John 16:33 NLT
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world."

John 14:27 NLT
"I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid.

John 15:18-19 NLT
"If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. [19] The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.

If you really checked this verses very well, you will notice that Jesus never claimed he is the one sending trials, one thing common and paramount in this verses above is that trials come to us because we are not of this world, and as long as we are in this world they are to be expected, we are not to throw in the towel whenever we are faced with such trials. image

The spirit of Christ also testified to this in the epistles, apart from seeing examples in the act of the apostles, they spoke expressly about it:
2 Timothy 3:12 NLT
Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Acts 14:22 NLT
where they strengthened the believers. They encouraged them to continue in the faith, reminding them that we must suffer many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God.

The strength to overcome all the trials that will ever face us is in us already, we are more than conqueror from the the very day we got saved, we just need to express this reality whenever we face trials, face it and confront it with the truth of who you are, we are to expect them, but we are not to be consumed by it, when they come, we easily toss them aside and continue to live the fulfilled life that has been made available to us with unlimited joy.

Good morning.
Great week!!
