Dear friends, relationship are very important in life, but one of the most important relationship we can have in life is our relationship with God, with Christ. No other relationship in this world is more important than this relationship, every other relationship are temporarily. Take for example in marriage both parties at least one will die and that could be the end of that relationship, relationship with our friends will equal end some day, it either that friend of ours travels or we just fall out of friendship and then we are no longer friends.
Relationship with family members equally end, but your relationship with Christ will not end unless you decide to break out of it yourself, unless you say "I don't want to be a follower of Christ again", unless you choose to sin and turn your back on christ abandoning Christ which Christ would never do to us because Christ never abandon us Christ loves each and everyone of us.
If you stay with Jesus Christ our saviour your relationship with him will stay beyond this life and forever. Just as in human relationship, human relationship are not the same, if it is possible to quantify it, we will say that no person have the same quantity of love to all his/her friend, so to say of emotional attachment or love to all your friends that's not true, for example let say a person have seven friend and among this seven friend he said his relationship for the seven friend is the same, that is not true because it is either he loves one more than the rest or he loves doing something with some or something else like that, so the truth is that you will find out that you will be closer to some than others.
Individual relationship in Christ is know to be a personal relationship, and this relationship can not be the same as somebody else relationship with christ, that is to say no two persons can have the same percentage of relationship with Christ. Base on how we came to know Christ and base on our own life experiences everybody relationship with Christ is different. Some people relationship with Christ is will be deep, some will be deeper, and maybe some will be even be deepest, at the same time some people relationship with Christ will be shallow, so we see different degree of relationship with Christ.
Everybody should work to deeping their relationship with Christ, if your relationship is at the same level or maybe it has even gotten to a lower level than the day you received Jesus as your lord and saviour then you should know that something isn't right. Jesus said that in
Revelation chapter 2:4
But this is what I have against you: you do not love me now as you did at first.
Dear friends, there's nothing like group relationship with christ, it's personal relationship not group relationship, even though all of us may belong to the same community, there's nothing like group love, it's the individual who love Jesus. So dear friends, you and I need to grow deeper in our relationship with Christ.
