The Lord, the One who exists for himself, spoke to Moses to give him encouragement, hope and confidence.
"The Lord answered Moses, Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh, for he will let them go by force, and by force he will drive them out of their land."

God was telling Moses that he was THE LORD. He does not have to make preparations for the future. He exists by himself and does not need to accumulate a reserve of resources. God does not depend on anything in creation or needs to rely on anything. Rather, all of creation has to rely on Him for its subsistence. And God wanted Moses to lean on Him too.
"God continued speaking to Moses, and said: I am the Lord, and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but for my name, Lord, I did not make myself known to them. they gave them the land of Canaan, the land where they made a pilgrimage, and I also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, because the Egyptians have enslaved them, and I remembered my covenant. "
God was telling Moses that He had appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but not essentially as THE LORD. They had been revealed to them as the Almighty God, the One who provides abundantly and sustains. However, Moses was revealed as THE LORD. God, as THE LORD, was going to save, to redeem His people, to adopt Him as His own, freeing him from slavery and guiding him to the Promised Land. For all this, they would know God as THE LORD, that is, the Eternal, as a part of his character and personality that he had not fully revealed to Abraham, nor to Isaac, nor to Jacob.
In this program we have spoken of an Almighty God who provides what is necessary, that protects and sustains, of an eternal God, who fulfills his promises.
The feelings of uncertainty that Moses showed during those days should not seem strange to us. We also experience that insecurity when the circumstances around us, and what happens to us, lack any explanation or meaning. When God seems distant, very distant, as if he were not acting or present in our situation.
To you who listen to us, we want to remind you that, just as in the past God was sensitive to the suffering of a people, listening to the expressions of his anguish, He listens to your prayer today, and even that outcry that comes from your mind and can not Express yourself with words. We wish that, just as Moses received the strength and encouragement to continue, you can also experience a vital impulse, a push forward, a renewal in the way you see things, remembering that God is not far away. He is close, very close to you, to listen to you, ready to act, ready to intervene on your behalf.
