¿YOU TRULY CONSIDER A GOOD FRIEND?

in #steemchurch6 years ago

God bless you dear brothers of Steemchurch
I invite you to reflect on this day!
Do yourself a self-analysis!
Are you really a good friend?
How much would you be willing to do for those people you tell friends or brothers?
The Bible tells a beautiful and powerful story that should serve as an example.
It is about ** true ** friends who did not see the obstacles or the difficulties to achieve the healing of their companion:
Mark 2 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR-1960)
2 Jesus entered again at Capernaum after a few days; and it was heard that he was at home.

2 And immediately many were gathered together, so that they did not fit even at the door; and preached the word to them.

3 Then some came to him bringing a paralytic, who was charged by four.

4 And since they could not approach him because of the multitude, they discovered the roof where he was, and making an opening, they lowered the bed on which the paralytic lay.

5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you.

6 Some of the scribes were sitting there, and they were thinking in their hearts:

7 Why does he speak like this? Blasphemy says. Who can forgive sins, but only God?

8 And when Jesus knew in his spirit that they were meditating in this way within themselves, he said to them, "Why do you think so in your hearts?

9 What is easier, to say to the paralytic: Your sins are forgiven you, or to say to him: Rise up, take your bed and walk?

10 For that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins (he said to the paralytic):

11 To you I say: Get up, take your bed, and go home.

12 Then he got up immediately, and taking his bed, he went out before all, so that all were astonished, and glorified God, saying, We have never seen such a thing.

FUENTE

What a beautiful feat, right?

Many times our limitations are in our mind, but also in our hearts; We look for excuses, we limit ourselves and we waste the opportunity to bless another and to please our *** Heavenly Father ***.

We Christians are called to bless our neighbor, to be an example, different in love and solidarity, that is why we must strive to bring the bound, sick, defeated, hopeless at the feet of our *** Lord Jesus Christ ** *, regardless of what they will say, regardless of the cost; these friends perhaps had to replace or repair the roof of that house, but that did not stop them ... What stops us to take our friends to the feet of the Lord? Pain? What will they say? or how much will it cost? I DON `T BELIEVE...

The call is to demonstrate the love of God that is in us, otherwise we would simply be selfish by not sharing with others what we have received of grace.

Thanks for your attention...

I bless you in the Name of Jesus ... A hug
