RE: WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS (HEBREWS 9:19-22)

in #steemchurch7 years ago

What a wonderful message! An interesting point is also that in the old covenant the blood of the animals could only cover the sin for a year, then it would be necessary to offer the sacrifice again.

Because the law, by having the shadow of the goods to come, not the very image of things, can never, by the same sacrifices that are offered continuously every year, make those who come near perfect.
Otherwise, they would stop offering, because those who pay for this cult, once clean, would no longer be aware of sin.
But in these sacrifices every year he remembers the sins;
because the blood of bulls and goats can not take away sins. Hebrews 10: 1-4

However, in the new covenant, the blood of Jesus fulfilled the demand God, Jesus the lamb that took away the sin, did not cover it.

Saying first: sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and expiations for sin that you did not want, did not want (what is offered according to the law),
and saying afterwards: Behold, I come, O God, to do your will; Remove the first, to establish this last.
In that we will be sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all. Hebrews 10: 8-10

... because with one offering he made perfect those who were sanctified forever. Hebrews 10:14

Blessings!
