God is a kind, generous and living father and He wants you rich and extremely prosperous.
As a Believer, you cannot pretend that money isn’t important. I am sure that the reason you work, is not because you simply love your country.
The reason you work and have a job or business is primarily because, you need the money to take care of yourself and have life going well for you.
Please, do not think for a second that because you are born again in Christ, you would get a ‘special price’ or discount whenever you want to make purchases at the stores.
There are no price special concessions/discounts for Christians at the fuel stations or shopping malls.
Furthermore, it takes money and resources to reach the world for Jesus and spread the gospel with the latest technology available to us today.
For example, writing your messages on iPads, laptops, designing fliers for publicity for crusades..
Sadly, many Believers shy away from talking about money in Church/congregation for fear of being criticized or seen as carnal and greedy.
Meanwhile, everyone including Christians freely talk about this same money outside the Church building, that they don't talk about in Church.
It is important for you as a Believer to know that God wants you to be rich; He wants you to have money and resources.
The Lord Jesus encouraged us to give in Luke 6:38
If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated
Contemporary English Version
because, you should always have something to give to others; you cannot give if you do not have.
Many people around you will be poor and needy and you won’t be able to help them if you only have just sufficient or enough for yourself.
It is God’s desire that you have over and above, so can you help someone else.
2 Corinthians 9:8
According to the Bible, Abraham wasn’t just rich but ‘abundantly rich’, (Genesis 13:2) and you are the seed of Abraham.
Therefore as a Believer, the heritage of Jacob is your inheritance in Christ Jesus.
God wants you rich.
Wealth and riches is outs as Christians. We should not feel dirty or world when talking about money because we are fruitful vines that yield.

Is the desire of our God for us to live in riches not in lack....because Our father is rich with silver, gold, all you can think of. A king's daughter/son is a prince and princess and they lacks nothing....
Thanks for sharing @phillipowolabi
