The story in John 5:1-9, I believe represents one of the longest duration of Man that had been incapacitated in the Bible. This is the story of the healing at the pool of Bethesda where people gathered hoping to get their healing. Jules met this man that had been crippled for 38 years waiting for his turn of healing. It was confirmed that a great multitude of impotent folks, blind, halt, withered were all there waiting too. When Jesus saw him, he ask if he wanted to be healed. To me and you too, I'm sure the man answer revealed why he had tarried in that position for that length of time. The man simply replied " I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. " that question may sound crazy but it is obvious that God cares about you and your situation.

Many are in the queue of life today because they have no one to help them. The Lord himself will show up personally in your situation too. Analyzing this story, the man had another problem apart from lacking help as reported by him, " while I'm trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me". Just like this man, many are full of excuses. I imagine Jesus did not feel sorry for him, but rather commanded him to get up, pick up his bed and walk. Immediately as recorded in verse 9, that same day the man was made whole and took up his bed and walked. His own waiting was over in the mist of that great multitude of sick, blind and lame that was waiting for the move of the angel to stir the water. He was singled out for his own miracle. In the midst of a great multitude.

Jesus knows about your situation. He knows about how long you have been waiting for that sickness to go, for the financial miracle to come, for your divine visitation too. He is not dead or deaf to your needs. With him all things are possible. You are next in line to be singled out.

God in his mercy will singled you out for that your heart desires.
