Religious leaders, seers, and prophets will mostly always claim that a lying spirit is a demon or Satan himself, but can an angel of God lie and deceive?
2Ch 18:19 And YHVH said: Who shall deceive Achab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall in Ramoth Galaad? And when one spoke in this manner, and another otherwise:
2Ch 18:20 There came forth a spirit, and stood before YHVH, and said: I will deceive him. And YHVH said to him: By what means wilt thou deceive him?
2Ch 18:21 And he answered: I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said: Thou shalt deceive, and shalt prevail: go out, and do so.
2Ch 18:22 Now therefore behold YHVH hath put a spirit of lying in the mouth of all thy prophets, and YHVH hath spoken evil against thee.
Now we must understand that the lying spirit here is not named, so is it possible that it could be Satan?

Satan Allowed to Test Job
Job 1:6 Now it fell upon a day, that the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan: 'Whence comest thou?' Then Satan answered the LORD, and said: 'From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.'
Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan: 'Hast thou considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a whole-hearted and an upright man, one that feareth God, and shunneth evil?'
Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said: 'Doth Job fear God for nought?
Job 1:10 Hast not Thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath, on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions are increased in the land.
Job 1:11 But put forth Thy hand now, and touch all that he hath, surely he will blaspheme Thee to Thy face.'
Job 1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan: 'Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thy hand.' So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
Now, some of these scriptures obviously contradict other scriptures regarding what happens to all liars. So, the moral of this teaching is to not tell lies and test the spirit spoken through its prophets, ensure it is not a lying spirit sent by God or Satan.
Test the Spirits
1Jn 4:1 Dearly beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits if they be of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2 By this is the spirit of God known. Every spirit which confesseth that Yeshua Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
So, is this saying that a person is incapable of telling a lie if they confess that Christ has come in the flesh, of course not, discernment and wisdom is still needed.
Mat_24:24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect.
Mar_13:22 For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets: and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect.
Mat 24 is often used to denounce the numerous people in the end times claiming to be Christ, but if you continue to read, it also tells you how to recognise the True Christ, which we have eloborated on in other posts.

I was speaking to a specific person on a specific subject in that post and not yours. We are indeed called to discern and judge in righteousness in Scripture. With that said, I did not judge you, but rather your post, name, symbols, reference to Our Father and I certainly did not condemn you... rather the opposite. As I stated in the post, it is your words, titles, and symbols that are a witness against you, not me. I was not pointing out the splinter in your eye, but rather trying to help a possible Brother or Sister get there "donkey out of a ditch." I did not curse you, call you bad names, or try to hurt you. I merely pointed out the Truth in your post and even asked God not to hold against you those things that you are doing against Him. The Bible tells us to correct each other as Brothers and Sisters, rebuke, exhort, and help each other turn back to Our Father when we may have gotten off track. That is all I was trying to do. The repent and be saved comment at the very end is not my command, but His, and you don't tell that to someone unless it is with Love. If there is no Love, it wouldnt be said at all. it's impossible for the angel of the load to be a liar . not unless he is not from LORD JESUS himself , but i would say he can allow things to happen just in order for his will to be done.

I like the scripture references in this post, but I'm puzzled as to why you wanted to talk about lying spirits.
In the garden we know that a serpent lied to eve, or just twisted the truth. We don't know if this was Satan, or one of his minions. We also know from experience that any demon knows scripture and will twist it to serve it's own purposes. The best way to test a spirit is not just to ask it who the son of God is, but also to check it's words and ideas against the Bible itself.
2nd Peter 2 talks about false prophets and false teachers. And we know in 2nd timothy 4 people will turn away from the truth to listen to teachings of demons.
In this century I think it's important to remind people of the goodness of God and his love for all. So instead of talking just about lying spirits, and recognizing them, couldn't you point them to Christ at the very end?

Well, @sunofthunder I will not speak on @prime-cleric's motives for posting this, but I do know this... The Bible mentions lying spirits for a reason. There is no waste in The Word of God. It is obvious it mentions those things for a reason. It speaks of in the end days how many will be led astray and to the firey furnace by lying spirits and doctrines of devils. Is Love not Truth? Does not Truth expose the darkness? Is Love not alerting your Brothers and Sisters that there is major deception going on, that many are being led astray, and giving them scripture planting a seed to look into these things. Yeshua said He did not come to bring peace, but a sword, and to seperate His flock and the goats. Truth, I believe is the dividing line, The Word of God is a Sword, and Christ is both.. Let's make no mistake about it, we are in very deceptive times, many would say the "end times" and someone has to point these things out. He, Yahweh and Yeshua or God the Father and Jesus His son are obviously using @prime-cleric to bring these things to the attention of someone... or many. Do you think Yeshua, the apostles, and all the prophets were killed because they were only talking about the ear tickling parts of Our Father's Word? Is not The Word of God Yeshua Himself? As for my reply to this post itself by @prime-cleric, my main point is that when reading this article, it does not seem to give peace or purpose, but simply aknowledges the danger of demons. When pastors or deacons or Bible study leaders speak about this, the closing points directly point back to Christ by briefly explaining the gospel. That way the infinite love of Christ and the truth of his identity as good is preached, and people are offered a gentle hand to repent or come up for prayer.
In this article, it ends with both a warning about false prophets and teachers, but also a small statement about finding the real Christ by reading the Bible.
So my question of the reason, motives or purpose has nothing to do with the doctrine of the writing, more the style and way it's presented.
My input here is simple. When you talk about demons, or lies, give people a joyful, and positive reason why they should listen to your warnings. Don't just say "hey! Demons exist, and they are lying to you! Go read the Bible" and then drop the mic there lol
You could add "but good news! Jesus has the power to cast out demons, and rebuke them." Or just say something about Christ himself.
One objective of being a Christian (regardless of denomination) is to reconcile people back to God. To represent Christ in all we do and say. So I'm not criticizing, just trying to lovingly correct.

I have had to tell this to many people who claim to "listen" to spirits... I tell them to test the spirit to make sure it is not lying. Discernment is always a must. Needed to be said.

God's spirit anointed sons will do nothing like that, only the demons are know for deceit. In ancient times, the apostles encountered demons whike preaching too.
