BE GRATEFUL UNTO THE LORD; OH MOTHER GHANA !!!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen we @sc-g sends greetings to all

"what shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits towards me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people." (Psalm 116:12KJV)

History of Our Natural Resources
Today, Steemchurch Ghana wants to be a little historic, by sharing with our beloved Parishioners in Steemchurch and all our Sister Parishes our prestigious history as Mother Ghana, where Steemchurch Ghana is situated.
We are much grateful to the Lord, our almighty and nothing can be replaced our profound gratitude to him rather than the word "praise."

Most of our beloved Ghanaians can interpret the colours and symbols of our prestigious Ghana flag. Some of these colours and symbols signify our prestigious natural resources that we have in our country Ghana. For instance, the year yellow colour in the middle of the flag, signifies that we have Gold in the country. The green colour too signifies the forest part of our lands, which comprises of rich Timbers, games and tourist attraction site. The black star in the middle of the yellow also signifies the unity among Africans. And the red also means the blood that our forefathers sacrificed to fight for freedom for all of us.

God's gifted Natural Resources to Ghana
As we have captured some of the natural resources as Gold and Timber, God has also endowed us with lands rich in soil nutrients which support crops growth. Apart from Gold being mined at Obuosi, Tarkwa, Priestia, and Kenyasi, we have bauxites mined at Awaso in the Western Region. About eight years ago, oil was also discovered at Cape three point near the coast, in the Western Region.

Under utilisation of our Resources into finished products
This vividly relates to our title: "Be grateful unto the Lord." Ghana should have been grateful unto the Lord in terms of making good use of our natural resources that God has endowed us with. Before God will give you raw materials, He will therefore give you knowledge and wisdom of how to convert them into finished products. God is the creator and inventor, so we are also able to create and invent, since He use his character of creation to create us. So far, how are Ghanaian Technologists being able harness Gold, Bauxites, Timber, Cocoa, and oil at their raw state into finished products? We must be grateful to God by using his wisdom and knowledge given to us to converts his given natural resources into finished products. We have the requisite raw materials on our exposure, but what is left is the conversion into finished one. It sometimes sad and hurting to hear that up till now we cannot utilize our resources to develop our country to the required level, so we are developing, formally we were underdeveloped and now we have moved to developing. Most of our raw materials are exported out side this country for sale and some too for exchange for goods and capital.

What are the Limiting Factors?

  • Lack of adequate funds to process the raw materials into finished products.
  • Lack of the requisite machineries harness the raw materials.
  • Lack of expertises who have technical know how complete the processes of raw materials into finished products.

In spite of these challenges, I must also say that greediness on the part of our leaders is also a contributing factor limiting us from being able to convert our raw materials into finished products. God intended gifted us with these natural resources to be able to develop our nation, but some leaders do not want to make it a reality, since they seek for their own and family welfare, they will intended sell these natural resources instead of finding proper way of making money out them to develop the nation.

There is nothing too hard for the Lord to guide us if we really want to do it. He can give you wisdom and knowledge of how we will go about it. So, Tue perception of lack of funds, equipment and experts are not the major problems that can be eradicated. The major problems are lack of good leaders who self devoted, committed, faithfulness and hard working to serve the nation. Those countries that are called developed countries, where do they started from? They started from grass to grace. When God created the heaven and earth, the earth was virtually nothing, not until He began to do something by calling out all the things to come. "We should remember that no one is born with a spoon in his mouth." Unless you plan well you cannot make it in life. Those developed countries started with the little funds that they were having with smaller experts before they have gotten to where they are now. Technology is a gradual process. Today you will see a very low quality products , but tomorrow you will see similar one more advanced. Look at computers for instance, we were receiving desktop computers, now we have more advanced form of similar ones that is laptops. That is how technology is.

We can be grateful to God, Mother Ghana if we can strive hard to properly utilize our God gifted natural resources to harness the country. Many men of God have tried and succeeded, in the lights of Nehemiah and his people who put their heads together to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Some group of people also tried to build a tower to reach God, with oneness, God saw that it could be possible and immediately God separated them with language barriers.

This means that, with unity, faithfulness, determination and hardworking we can reach our goals that we have decided to do with God acceptance. Here, I would like to borrow statement made by our Sister Parish of Venezuela post that, "building Venezuela." Let's all help to build a better Ghana. The theme for building is let's stand up and build Ghana with unity, faithfulness, and hardworking, our leadership role.

I hope with everyone contribution we can build a vibrant economy in order to be grateful unto the Lord for the wonderful gift He has given to us.

All Parishioners and Parishes can also share with us the way forward in building our economy, our role as Christians in Steemchurch- Crusade for Freedom. Thanks to our Legendary SirKnight, SniffnScurry, and all the leaders of Steemchurch for your immense support in Steemchurch, all the Parishes and individuals Parishioners and even outside the Parish of Steemchurch.
