Thanks be to God for His mercies and goodness towards our families as He daily loads us with benefits. It is with joy that the leadership and Parishioners of the Nigerian parish of @Steemchurch celebrate the new gift of a pretty baby to the family of our Priest @Fatherfaith.
It amazes us how God can be so marvelous and faithful to His promise of granting safe delivery to the mother. This reminds me of the blessings that the birth of children brought to the families in the Holy Bible and even today.
Yesterday was the naming ceremony of the child and we are happy to felicitate with the family while urging the father to create her a steem account as well as a "jc" account on Telos. We will be excited to gift steem, TLOS, HEARTs and other tokens to her account. Let's reflect on the passage below:
Luke 1:59-66 New King James Version (NKJV)
59 So it was, on the eighth day, that they came to circumcise the child; and they would have called him by the name of his father, Zacharias. 60 His mother answered and said, “No; he shall be called John.”
61 But they said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who is called by this name.” 62 So they made signs to his father—what he would have him called.
63 And he asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, saying, “His name is John.” So they all marveled. 64 Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, praising God. 65 Then fear came on all who dwelt around them; and all these sayings were discussed throughout all the hill country of Judea. 66 And all those who heard them kept them in their hearts, saying, “What kind of child will this be?” And the hand of the Lord was with him.
According to @Fatherfaith, the beautiful baby is identified as below:
The names of the baby are:
Abigail, Adebola, Ayodesire, Ayomide, Ewaife, Faith, Jesutofunmi, Moranugba, Oladunni, Oluwanifemi, Oluwasemilore, Oyindamola, Titobiloluwa, Ajoke
I pray for her, that God will endow her with virtue, strength, wisdom and glory. She shall be a spice for her generation and shall be a blessing to many.
TARGETS
As a community, we hope to raise a good Steem Power to be able to curate quality blogs shared to #steemchurch #sc-n. Our target for year 2020 would be to reach 5,000 Steem power. We will also ensure that our parishioners get to know the promotional activities ongoing here.
UPCOMING PROJECT
While exposing the first strategy for our grand project in Nigeria, #ChristOurHope, we did elucidate in this post, the specific steps to be taken in @Sc-n towards restoring hope to Nigerians as follows:
- Discipleship trainings educational institutions and churches to open up Christians to the true knowledge of God and God's expectation. We hope to raise men like Daniel, Joseph, who will rise to the ranks in politics and governance , yet will NOT compromise their faith.
- Blockchain Awareness Campaigns in Schools and Public places.
- Educational/School Support programs.
- Environmental Rehabilitation programmes
- Agricultural Innovations and developments.
- Life Skills acquisition trainings
