Hello everyone, quite an age. I have been busy all this while but I'm back and better. Today, I will like to talk about one of the topic that has always been a sermon in churches around the globe. Talking about pleasing God
I will be brief as possible so as to pass the short information across. How do I please God? That is the first question we need to ask ourselves. God is a supreme being who is interested in ruling in the affairs of men. However, there are every need that we must learn how to please him. In doing this, we are entitled to enjoying some core benefits from we pleasing him. Relax, read and enjoy this short but comprehensive truth on how to best please God.
What does it means to please God
To please God means to make him happy. To please God also means to bring him pleasure.
It could also mean to desire him the more and to delight in doing his will.
However, before you can have that notion of you pleasing God, you must have reciprocated his love towards you. He is your father. When you are in love with your father, you tend to do things that pleases him. He's well pleased when you carry out is commandments and instructions.
Why do I need to please God?
It is a commandment from Him.
2 corinthians 5:9.
Therefore, whether we are at home [on earth away from Him] or away from home [and with Him], we are constantly ambitious and strive earnestly to be pleasing to Him.
Here, Paul an apostle of Christ was admonishing the church at Corinth to always do the will of the Lord irrespective of whatever circumstances that surrounds them knowing the essence that it's a commandment not to flawed. May the Lord help us in this regards.
He's got all power.
Psalm 62:11.
God has spoken once, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God.
Because it is one way to thank the lover of our soul.
John 8:29.
And He Who sent Me is ever with Me; My Father has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.
Jesus Christ lived his entire life pleasing the father and he was so sure of that the eminent presence of the father is always with him. You know why? He always does what pleases the father.
We need to please God so that we can enjoy peace with our enemies.
Proverbs 16:7.
When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
There are different ways in pleasing God. We will be considering other ways as well the benefits of pleasing God.
