Today, we would be considering a caption; PURPOSE DISCOVERY AND MAXIMIZATION.
Lord, let your word come like a guided missile and let it hit the target of our heart as we would find bearing for our lives and destiny... Follow closely brethren, don't just connect, open your heart to collect today.
It promises to be transforming..

Most people just decide what to do with their lives. They got it wrong because life is first a discovery before it is a decision.
NEVER JOKE WITH YOUR PURPOSE A SECOND, YOUR PURPOSE IS NOT YOUR MATE.
From the story of the creation of man in the scriptures (Gen 1:26), it is crystal clear that the purpose why God created man in His image was first conceived and stated before man came into being. Therefore the purpose of every man is older than that man.
Ask Jeremiah, God told Jeremiah as a lad that before he was formed in his mother's womb he had a purpose (Jer. 1:5).
Hear this, as you relate with men older than you in age with respect and values, respect and value your purpose in high esteem. Also note that; God first conceived the idea, "let us make man" before taking a step to act.
Death isn't the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies in us while we live". --Norman Cousins.
If I'm asked; "at what age do people really die more?", I will say; "between the age of 20 to 30 but are buried later at old age".
YOUR LIFESPAN CAN ONLY ACCOMODATE DIVINE PLANS.
Never unengage a moment, every second of your life counts. Your lifespan can only accommodate divine plans other things are distractions.
Note, we can make decisions for decades but we can take first step of action in a second.
Know what you want and do what is necessary every moment of your life.
If God gives a man the privilege to live for 70 years, that means for such man to reach the peak of achieving God's plan for his live, 70 years is God's standard to achieve all that his required of him to really maximize his potentials. Before I proceed to telling us how we can discover our purpose as a focal to the caption, there is a need to know why we have to discover our purpose because the purpose not discovered can't be maximized..
Take a moment to ponder on the questions below.
● IF YOU DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE, YOU WILL KNOW YOUR WORTH.

If a man does not have a program for his life and has not clearly identified his goals, other people will use him to fulfill their own plans.
● ALL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IS IN YOU.
All you need to live a purposeful and successful life on earth is in you; search it out. Your potentials and talents have been crying for expression for years. Why do you bury them in pursuit of another man's ambition? How long will you do this?
It's time for you to know who you truly are, and not what others say and think about you. You can't know your worth until you know your purpose. You have been priced for cheap with that job that gives you penny because you have not discovered your purpose and worth.
● YOUR PURPOSE MAKES YOU PRICELESS.
Men of purpose are priceless. No currency can buy them because they themselves are currencies the world trades with to remain a better place for mankind. Generations leverage on their worth and values.
The job that engages you in an organization will reward you with a salary but purpose rewards you with fulfilment. You can't be fulfilled doing other men's business all the days of your life no matter the salary given to you.
● PURPOSE ACCOMPANIES FULFILLMENT.
When you are about another man's business, you can complain of closing late. When you are about your purpose business, you can do it with no closing time in view and still have a fulfilled day.
● PURPOSE SHUTS ITS DOOR ON IDLENESS.
Your purpose on earth is capable of employing you for a lifetime if you have discovered it. Your potentials can engage you without giving room for idleness. Many claim to be jobless and idle because they haven't discovered their purpose and potentials. God has not created any man to be idle or jobless, everything a man needs to be engaged for a lifetime is inside of that man. He only needs to discover and harness it.
● PURPOSE DISCOVERY GIVES NO ROOM FOR GUESS WALK.
Guess work will continually make us guests in the table of confusion and spiritual calamity, we have to be sensitive. Great men don't feast on the table of confusion for long because the meal served there is poisonous and decelerates their motion.
I don't need to ask a man how serious he is about his purpose; I only need to observe closely what gets more of his time daily.*
A man can only have a fulfilled day when he spends quality of the time of the day in doing things that brings him closer to the reality of his dreams. Spend more of your time on and do more of the things that brings you closer to the reality of your plans, purpose and pursuits.
“For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace; and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jer.29:11).
There is an expected end for everyman called to the purpose of God. Hoping for a better tomorrow is a waste of time because tomorrow is already better, start to plan.

PURPOSE DISCOVERY
There are several ways of discovering your purpose, God is the custodian of man’s purpose and he reveals it in diverse ways. Purpose can be discovered by;
■ DELIVERY
God can personally deliver to you your purpose at will, he just comes to you on His own. God came to Moses to deliver his purpose to him (Exo.3), He appeared to Paul on his way to Damascus to deliver to him his purpose (Acts9), He told Abraham to get out of his kindred to his place of purpose (Genesis 12). You can go to God to deliver to you your purpose on INQUIRY because your Purpose is a secret in the heart of God, he has prepared it.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1Cor.2:9).
You can go to God in prayer, via his words to inquire asking, what is your plan for my life? What is your destination? He knows you before you are formed in your mother’s womb (Jer.1:4-5) and he has predestined you for a purpose.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” (Jer.33:3).
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved” (Habakkuk 2:1).
Purpose is not a matter of your natural abilities, but God’s ability at work in you because, “faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it”(1Thess,5:24). It is vital to go to God to inquire for clarity of vision, because, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”. (Prov.14:12, 16:25).
■ DISCOVERY
Everyone is born with a gift or talent which is an endowment of abilities. Everyone has extra-ordinary potentials to rule the world, the tragedy of life is not poverty but failure to discover one’s hidden talents.
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straight-way took his Journey” Matt.25:15.
No one is useless; everyone has a talent which is a pointer in discovering one’s purpose.
A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringetth him before great men. Prov.18:16._
*Your gift is a determinant of living a purposeful life and fulfilling destiny, discover it!
■ DESIRE
What you desire is what you can acquire, for a man can achieve almost anything he has unlimited enthusiasm. Your purpose can be determined by what you desire, that is a particular area of life where you desire to make an impact.
We are all product of choice, we are where we are today as a result of the choice we made yesterday. God respects your choice; God made man a creature of choice, so he respects the desires of a man’s heart.
Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the DESIRES of thine heart – Psa.37:4.*
“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live…” (Deut.3:19)._
If purpose is not delivered to you through God’s call, and you are unable to discover one for yourself by locating the gifting inside you, you can locate it by a choice.
■ PASSION
What you naturally have flair for in most cases is a pointer to your purpose. When something in you turns you on every time, it is sometimes an indicator to your purpose.
“And they said unto me, the remnant that are left of captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.
And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,” Nehemiah 1:3-4.
Purpose was delivered to Nehemiah by passion, he had passion for the people and the broken down wall of Jerusalem. God delivered the vision to him as a result of his passion and he fulfilled his destiny.
What do you have passion for? Search it out, ask people, work on it and make it your profession.
PURPOSE IS PEOPLE ORIENTED.
Purpose is not delivered to a man to make him a super-star or celebrity, it is people oriented and for people.*
“Where there is no vision, the people perish…” (Prov.29:18).
Every self-centered dream is not genuine; vision is to stop people from perishing. Every self-centered dream is greed and the creed of greed is sin indeed.
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Gen.2:3).
“Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt” – Exo.3:10.
After God called Abraham (Gen.12:1), he later reviewed to him that his purpose is to be a blessing and in him shall all the families of the earth be blessed. His blessing was for people. Also, the call of Moses was to deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt, his call was not for him alone.
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matt.1:21).
“The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised”- Luke 4:18.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly” (Jn.10:10).
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of devil; for God was with him” – Acts 10:38.
Jesus Christ came with the purpose of delivering the people, even the creator’s vision was people oriented and he stayed with it till the end. Your vision must be people oriented, every self-centered is not genuine.
We are getting to the final stage/level of the teaching.
HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR PURPOSE
No purpose will fulfill itself no matter how divine it may appear or be delivered. There is what to do to fulfill your vision.
● SEE IT.
Having a mental picture of your destination (visible or invisible) is what motivates you to get there. If you cannot see it, you cannot achieve it.
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” (Jer.33:3).
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved” (Habakkuk 2:1).
“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” (Gen.12:1).
“…lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it and to thy seed forever”. (Gen.13:14-15).
How far you can see is how far you can go, Abraham had a mental picture of the land that God promised him.
“And he brought him forth abroad, and said, look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him so shall thy seed be” (Gen.15:5).
Fulfilling your vision begins with you having a mental picture of it, so see it!
●UNDERSTAND IT.
Any purpose you cannot understand can never be fulfilled because you will be confused regarding how to go about it. No confused vision comes into accomplishment; every outstanding vision is a function of understanding.
“ And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it”- Habakkuk 2:2.
You can understand your vision by writing it, by making it plain and read-able. You have to get an understanding of your purpose before anyone can believe in the quality of your purpose.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge………”- Hosea 4:6.
Many purpose are not fulfilled today because of lack of understanding, though God gave them the vision, they saw it but they lack understanding. Many know where they are going but they don’t know what it entails and how to get.
“Good understanding giveth favour; but the way of the transgressors is hard”- Proverbs 13:15
It is essential to understand your purpose, invest in search for knowledge; no purpose will be fulfilled without understanding.
●PROVE IT.
There is need to prove your purpose, many have mistaken purpose for many things such as ambition, impression, imagination, situation, reaction or natural instinct. Prove your vision, don’t be too ambitious, patience is a requirement to fulfill your vision, and don’t want it by all means.
Purpose places you in God’s plan and you cannot run faster than God.
● BELIEVE IT.
Believing God for the actualization of purpose is vital in the quest of fulfilling your purpose.
“And he believed in the Lord; and He counted it to him for righteousness”- Genesis 15:6.
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord”- Luke 1:45.
Fulfilling your purpose demands your faith, until you believe it, it can never be performed. It takes faith to fulfill your purpose, whether it is received by delivery, discovery or desire.
● PURSUE IT.
*Any purpose you don’t pursue, you cannot achieve it.
“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain”- 1 Corinthians 9:24.
“……let us run with patience the race that is set before us”- Hebrews 12:1.
The pursuit of your purpose is a key to its accomplishment because there is what to do to fulfill your vision. The race is set before you, run now; it’s time to run the race of destiny. Get on your mark, get set, the world is waiting for your manifestation.
On this note, I say favour on your head, increase in your hands and speed to your feet, gaining speed even a thousand times more because every day is a plus.
