Today, I will be doing a write up on "The Influence of the Knowledge of the Word of God on our praying." I pray the Lord, Jesus, reveals this deep mystery of prayer to us. Amen.

Deep studying of the Word of God and frequent involvement with the Word of God will, quite naturally, cause prayer to spring forth from your heart and from your lips.
Have you been experiencing a short fall in praying time?
Sign up for a more consistent, intimate and intense studying of the Word of God. Alongside that, ask God for a revival of zeal. Because, man is laden with many infirmities and his inability to pray is one of them. So, the Spirit of God will have to help us in prayer by reviving our spirit.
"So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name" (Psalms 80:18).
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered" (Romans 8:26).

The place of the Holy Spirit in our praying.
Right before now I mentioned that the Holy Spirit assists us in praying by revving our spirit with fire. In a sentence, I will succinctly speak on what cooperating with the Holy Spirit in praying will do for us as believers.
Times of prayer becomes especially meaningful, more victorious, and more effective when our praying is done in cooperation with the indwelling Spirit of God. When we learn to do this, praying becomes a natural part of our existence and as much a part of our daily living as eating or sleeping.
When and where did Jesus pray?
Deep, prevailing prayer is not always convenient. Effective praying demands a commitment to time and place. Jesus exemplified this fact.
"Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed."
Mark 1:35
When did Jesus pray?
He prayed during the early cool of the day. He prayed when there was no one around, when there were no interruptions. He spent early, quality time with His Father. He prayed while His mind was fresh and unencumbered with the countless details of living.
Have you ever risen very early in the morning to pray?
I often find those times refreshing, rewarding, and precious.
Prayer is the fuel that feeds the spirit of man. And if your spirit is not refueled by frequent prayer, it will run down and at some point lose light.
In my next post, which will be my last on this series, I will talk on "The Influence of Praying on Our Soul." Please sit back and patiently. It will be a bomb.
