Be Conscious of Who You Are

To be conscious according to the dictionary is to be well informed, keenly aware and fully appreciate the importance of something. The only thing that can help you forget the devil and his demons are consciousness of who you are in the Lord.
In Paul's ministry, he always spoke and operated with an understanding of his personality in God through Jesus Christ. In Every first chapter of his apostolic epistles to the churches, he always began by declaring his personality in the Lord.
In Romans 1 vs 1, Paul declared by understanding, that he is a servant of Jesus of Christ, called to be an apostle and seperated for the gospel of God.
In first Corinthians, he knew that he was called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, because he understood who he is in the Lord. Hear him in chapter 1 vs 17 and 18: For Christ me not to baptize but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness but unto us which are saved is the power of God.
Brethren, Paul had no time for binding and loosing or praying fall and die prayers. Understand who you are in God. He understood that as an apostle he only has power to plant, but God alone has the power to give increase.
In his letter to the Galatian church, he declared by understanding that his apostleship did not come from him or any man, but came from Jesus Christ and God the father who raised Jesus from the dead. And because he understood who he was in God, he took his stand when the brethren of Galatia were being misled. By power and authority, he withstood Peter in Antioch face to face and blamed him when he acted hypocritically. Hear in Galatians 2 vs 11 -21;
11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Please lets all endeavour we take our stand and fully understand who we really are in Christ. If we do this consciously, we will see that there is nothing that will scare us.

The first thing that makes anyone a good Christian is by knowing oneself, this will help you to know your weakness and strength to prayer and be guided towards it.
Exactly. Knowing who we are in Christ is the first step to Victorious living as believers in this world.
We should learn to take advantage of who we are in Christ and live a life of Favour, Divine Health and Abundance.
The power we carry within us will not manifest until we first come to the knowledge of who we really are.
There is absolutely serious need to realize who we are in Christ

Exactly! ! The devil should be scared of us and not the other way round
Salvation does not come easily, for you to be the greater benefit at the end one thing a Christian needs to do is to know him/herself.
Salvation is blood bought ,therefore we must understand that a great price us paid for our salvation,let all see this and walk according to purpose well of God
In 1 Corinthians 15: 10, Paul said:
I see the declaration "I am what I am" in a PRESENT form meaning, The feat he had yesterday was yesterday and today is another day and God's grace is still available. It is never in heart beat of God to reject man because His ultimate will for us is that everyone may be saved.
God's loving arms are still open to us because Christ is advocating for us. We have to take advantage of this and rise to our place and this must be done consciously.
However, the grace should be taken for granted, we have to remember that Christ now lives in us Galatians 2: 20-21:
When we are conscious of this fact, we allow the Holy Spirit to give us direction and we be at our best to live out the righteousness of Christ imputed on us.

coincidentally last Sunday I preached in my congregation on a topic related to what they mention in this publication, we must be convinced of who we are in Christ Jesus, we are a holy nation, a chosen people of God.
1 Peter 2: 9
Ignorance is one thing that destroys people's life. Little wonder God said that 'my peope are destroyed because of lack of knowledge".
It is sad that many Christians do not who they are carrying inside of them. If we knew this, we wouldn't be running helter-skelter in search of help. The knowledge of who we are in Christ is what will pave way for us all.

This is beautiful, the truth is, with every endeavours and every roadmap we're taking, we need to understand that we're nothing without God and if we do not focus wholly on God and are distracted we may not be the kind of Christian deep rooted in Christ
Saturate your mind with the truth of God’s Word. It’s filled with reminders of His unconditional love for you. He says you are fearfully and wonderfully made (see Psalm 139:14 ). He says that nothing can separate you from His love (see Romans 8:35 ). Don’t let the enemy steal your identity. Be cautious of who you are.

Many a times...we fail to realize who we are in Christ ...for instance we are not born into a beggarly family....we are born in authority...we are born with the mind of Christ ..
Once we understand who we really are in Christ...we then exercise our right in the direction.
Our Identity in christ is so important!
It makes us understand the authority of a believer and gives us that authority!

We must know that we are children of God....and always be conscious of what we do for our father in heaven sees and knows everything..salvation has a great price to pay and that price is not to look at the things of this world and follow Jesus our saviour.
