Since we are born again, we are still surprised by the love of God, we know that He invites us to enter his presence because he loves us as his children, he wishes to "grow in grace and in the knowledge of His Son Jesus Christ." words, this shows that God wants to have with us a progressive and deep spiritual relationship that takes us to a higher level of obedience and holiness.
Only when that communion becomes Genuine, prayer ceases to be a mere duty and becomes delight. What God expects from us is one thing: that we love him "with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our strength".
