Fear is an old adversary of humankind. It made its passageway through transgression in Gen. 3:10. It is a spiritually annihilating foe which cripples and dissolves spiritual capacities. Fear is a slave ace and can abduct individuals for their whole lifetime. But what is fear?
Above all else, fear is a feeling, The feeling holds us when we sense that we are in danger of being harmed. However, there is something else entirely to fear than being a unimportant feeling. The scripture gives us a more profound measurement of fear. It discusses "a spirit..of fear." The expression "a soul" here does not mean a malevolent soul, as if fear is an evil presence.
"Spirit" in this setting is apropos clarified by the NET interpreters "meaning the human personality under the Spirit's impact as in 1 Cor 4:21"(1). I need you to take note of that word "impact." In this verse, the Apostle was stating fear isn't one of the impacts of the Holy Spirit in our lives. That gives us a more profound comprehension of fear as a spiritual impact. Fear is a soul, that is, a spiritual impact that capacities with the power and capacities of the soul domain. Have you at any point been held by fear and it was so substantial just as some imperceptible power was holding you? Fear is a feeling, but more imperatively, it is also a spiritual impact.
Would you be able to consider one case in the scriptures in which fear prompted an undesired result? ( Job 3:25, Matt. 14:30-31).
Fear will oppress and deny you of your spiritual triumphs if you don't put it under check. The counteractant of fear is trust and confidence in God's essence with you ( Ps. 23:4). You have to effectively manage fear in your heart through the Word and supplication. Fear is dependably around us. It is your obligation not to permit it control your heart and psyche.
Sadly, Satan has held captive supposed believers who never took time to build faith in God's word. God will help us. Thank you @tikhub for this message
