Prayer is the intermediary between God and man, we hear and communicate with God through prayer, a Christian who doesn't pray does not have a good communication with God, as it is very necessary to pray and hear from God so he could order our steps.
So many prophets and men of God in the bible were fervent in prayers, they never joked with His presence,Such men of prayer are always national benefactors. Elijah was one of these. He heard a voice, saw a vision, experienced a power, faced an enemy and, counting on God as an ally, won a great victory. These attributes will also be ours if we could be like Him and pray like Him, many wants to be like Prophet Elijah today but none is ready to do things he did, no one wants to take the risks he took. God help us all.
