PROVERBS 25:8
Do not rush into litigation,
Lest you not know what to do at the end,
After your neighbor has embarrassed you.
When we are angry, the people around us suffer because of our discomfort. The Bible in Ephesians 4:26 says that we can be angry but that we do not sin. The human being has the ability to experience different emotions, but when we are angry we must stop and reflect on the situation in which we find ourselves. We must ask ourselves this question: what would Jesus do in this situation ?, take time to think and then act. So we can control and not sin hurting the neighbor.
Another characteristic that God warns us through his word is that the sun does not set on your anger, that is, do not give continuity, do not let it go on, you can not go to sleep angry. If you have affected someone because they are angry, how can you go to sleep in peace? you can not claim the promise that Psalm 4: 8 teaches us when he says peacefully I will lie down and sleep likewise because only your Jehovah makes me live confidently.
A Christian must experience a change in his way of life, a change of personality, he must learn to control his temper and not lose control. A person who has changed his temper does not act hastily, since this has consequences that sometimes if we do not control it can lead to serious problems.
In the bible we have several examples of characters who sinned because of anger:

Genesis 4
5 but he did not look favorably on Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.
6 Then Jehovah said to Cain, "Why have you been angry, and why has your countenance declined?
Cain was angry with his brother even though he was innocent and by his anger killed him.
2 chronicles 26
19 Then Uzziah, having a censer in his hand to offer incense, was filled with wrath; and in his wrath against the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead, before the priests in the house of the Lord, beside the altar of incense.
20 And Azariah the chief priest looked upon him, and all the priests, and behold, the leprosy was in his forehead; and they made him leave hurriedly from that place; and he also hastened to go out, because Jehovah had struck him.
21 Thus King Uzziah was a leper until the day of his death, and he lived as a leper in a separate house, for which he was excluded from the house of the LORD; and Jotham his son took charge of the royal house, ruling the people of the land.
Exodus 32
19 And it came to pass, when he came to the camp, and saw the calf and the dancing, that the anger of Moses burned, and he threw the tablets out of his hands, and broke them at the foot of the mountain.
In our life it is necessary at every moment to make decisions, some without consequences and others with such importance that can change or affect us, so we must think and not act hastily, in this way if we think first of honoring God with every decision I assure you that you will always take the correct one. In many occasions it is not easy, we must sometimes forget the pride to reach maturity, to reach wisdom.
When we are insulted, we feel offended or swindled by someone our flesh desires to act hastily, to run to denounce the aggressor or who is slandering us. But the bible tells us that we should not act hastily lest we later become ashamed.
We must reflect on the situation, plan what we should do what the results will be, the bible is very clear when it warns us in Luke 14:28 For who of you, willing to build a tower, does not sit down first and calculate the expenses, to see if he has what he needs to finish it?
Let's see what the Bible tells us about the lawsuits between Christians
1 Corinthians 6
Does any of you, when you have something against another, go to trial before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
Enmity, anger, anger, fights and divisions are always related to our sinful humanity, pride, envy or jealousy. Proud people always believe they are right, do not retract their bad attitudes or care about the opinions or feelings of others. When there is envy you do not want to see the welfare of the other person, for these reasons there are lawsuits, struggles and dissensions. The bible does not tell us if it matters if we are right or not, but if it clearly warns us that every time we have lawsuits with others we have to fix the offenses, even if we have not been the aggressor. Just as God forgives us, we must also forgive those who offend us.
Reflection: You will love your neighbor as yourself
If we have the holy spirit in us, he will make us reflect and convince us of sin. Let us not act according to the flesh but according to the spirit and God find in us gentleness, prudence. Thanks for sharing excellent message.
