I am very new here. Can you explain what tag spam is and how to not do it? We only get 5 tags, so how would you spam with that?
I am very likely to do something wrong when I have no idea what it is because I am like that. This is how I got down to 40% power without even knowing what it was. I am back in the 70s now, so don't give up on me!
We got this when we breach any copyright law or posting fake artical for spamming here
Tag spam would be putting popular, yet irrelevant tags on your post in an effort to get them more views. For instance, lets say you tagged your post about movies under the #food or #steemit categories despite your post having nothing to do with either of those.
Using irrelevant tags, especially popular tags, makes it hard to find good and relevant content.
We encourage people to try to use only relevant tags when posting.
Ah! I see, thank you - I read the tags obsessively to see where I might fit, so I think I will avoid this one. I get it now and that would totally annoy me. Thank you so much!
the voting power goes down every time you like / vote for a post or comment new people like you and me can only vote / like 10 times a day and then have full ability again the next day kind of like share jail we had on TSU.
the tag spam if i remember correct is when people tag cats dogs cars and only show donuts
Yes, I heard the 10X a day thing too - but a little too late! I have some car photos and they will not say donuts :)

These posts are always so intense, ive seen nearly all of these violations every 3 seconds on the "new" section, people literally reposting something that was just posted 3 minutes before by someone else

Hectic. People just need to learn what the meaning of SPAM is, and stay in the green areas. Like, it's not that they should be even afraid of being flagged, but rather that they are looking like immature idiots to the rest of the world. Good work protected the community @SteemCleaners. Keep it up.

Falling into the pit of plagiarism.I have to say that this user is flagging my post"s @lykencrypto . You can see why on the post I wrote about it.
Sense I am a minnow writing anymore post isn't going to benefit me. He will just continue to flag my post until I am gone. I wish I had been smarter and not said anything to @admin about "I wonder how you would let @steemitboard know not to reward this guy", but I did along with telling him to grow up. Stupid of me I know. Good luck cleaning the problem.
Unless I am doing something wrong suddenly these people are flagging my post also. I found them on the vote counter. I am letting you know because that is the only way I was able to find these people. For instance the @ symbol doesn't work to bring you to the wall. lol Below is the post I found them on:

@Old with a reputation of (2) lol shows up on the vote counter as lykendream
@LawrenceLyken (6) his name is spelled Lawrence Lyken and shows up on the counter as lykencrypto
It seems to me that these accounts are being used to harm steemit and steemains that complain. Obviously this is one person with more than one account and he is changing the name on his wal in an attempt to hyde.
Please let me know if I have this figured out or if I am doing something wrong in my post.
