RE: The verification step on #Steemit & The reason for high valued posts!?

in #steemdollar9 years ago

The reason why women are getting upvotes is to be a more inclusive and diverse community. The majority of people in crypto are men, the majority of traders are men. If this is going to go mainstream there need to be a critical mass of users... and that means women too. It might look contrived at first, but I'm sure it'll work itself out.

Sort:

Bullshit, women get upvotes because nerds are horny beta males with no social skills.

ah, the real men of Steemit.... A NEW POST IS BREWING. Thanks @business!

ha ha! this sort of cracked me up. you certainly didn't hold anything back.

And that's what it's all about, in the end. Having fun, meeting friends and contribute. Laughter is priceless! :)

love and laughter! and mischief oh my!
I'm rascally one underneath all my rage about the how the Matrix programs the sheeple.

I couldn't reply to the last reply of yours @stellabelle. I didn't had that option.

Anyhow, mischief, yeah. It's great as long as no one gets hurt. How is that saying.. “Smile like you’ve never cried, fight like you’ve never lost, love like you’ve never been hurt, and live like you’ll die tomorrow.”

Haha, yeah. I do agree with you. At least when it comes to likes & follows on Facebook and Instagram. I'm too new on Steemit to know exactly how things are done here.. Hopefully, Steemit will become a better place than Facebook, Instagram and all those other junk medias.

there is a deep and philosophical backbone to this platform that does not exist anywhere else. It is firmly rooted in non-violence, which goes over extremely well with women. Read this from the founder, @dantheman if you really want to know what's behind the veil: https://bytemaster.github.io/update/2015/12/29/Why-Vision-Matters/

Thank you very much @stellabelle, I appreciate it! :)

I really like your posts stella, so dont take me too seriously.

Wait, so alpha males don't like boobs too?

Yes, but we don't give them $1000 for attention.

Haha, thanks @business, you've made my day! :)

which in turn makes women feel bad, self-conscious, at least for me....

yeah. I guess horniness and lack of real world women could make you upvote the mammaries.

Well... even though I would love that to be a fact, it's actually not. Just take a look at instagram or facebook. How many "hot chicks" have you seen with 4,000+ friends and 2300+ followers? .. Perhaps a bunch. Probably more than a handful. How many of these have shared a photo in a bikini or whatever..? Probably most of them. How many likes did that photo have? .. A couple of thousands. Right?

So yeah, I truly wish that Steemit will be different compared to the rest of the social medias out there.. And I would love to see Steemit as the first REAL social media platform where beautiful people are getting upvotes for their content rather than their bodies. #muchlove

I agree with you 100%. The world of superficiality is just that: the world of superficiality.
It does not lead to enlightenment. But the real problem, in my opinion is that boys don't value themselves. They instead pick fights, act like mammals, instead of realizing that anyone can find love and desire. It's a matter of self-cultivation. It takes work, though because the programming is so thick, like heavy tar covering our beautiful minds....

That's beautiful @stellabelle, just wonderful. I agree with what you've said here but I'm not like that. Not at all. I do love gorgeous women but real beauty comes from the inside. I would never in my life be with some shallow chick. No matter the size of their breasts. However, the size of the brain, would count.

I see that the whales are a varied bunch of guys.
Each one has probably their own set of factors guiding them.
I think they realize that mass adoption is clearly centered on this one very important thing:
men will generally go where there is pussy.
The Steemit founders, being men, perhaps did not think this through. Or maybe they did. I have no idea.
assets here in Steemit. One man looking out for the health of an ecosystem is enough to make me feel loyal beyond any reason. Dan is an example of a real man. (I might be experiencing some level of delusion, but i'm fine with that) I know one thing, if @dantheman hadn't downvoted a sexist Steemit banner, I probably would not have $25,000 in

Surreeeeeeeee!

Totally kidding, thats great!
