SBD are kinda interesting eh...Good fail safe protocol for Steem in one way and sort of a loop hole in another.

Really good explanation of steem and sbd. It's great there is a conversion system already in place for steem. Crypto currency exchange is the future. We need to take control of our money back.

The problem with USDT is that value relies on Bitfinex, because both USDT and Bitfinex are owned by the same company. If Bitfinex has deposit and withdraw problems, USDT price will eventually fall in any other exchange. This already happend and medium USDT price calculated by coinmarketcap reached a minimum value of 0,914$. In case Bitfinex gets hacked, goes bankrupt or their accounts get blocked by authorities, USDT value will drop fast to zero.

Thanks for the clarification. I had no idea SBD was only worth 90¢ American, still doing better than the CAD, but if the two hit parity I may jump on board.
