How to calculate subnet mask manually without IP Calculator?
To calculate the subnet mask, we should first understand the decimal conversion to binary and binary to decimal.

CONVERTING DECIMAL TO BINARY.

Sample Question : (Decimal)156 = what is binary?
Answer:
For easy, we recommend using paper and pen to count them.


Binary is a 2-based number, so to calculate it, the decimal number is also bound to divide by two.

When the number being divided is an even number then the remainder is 0, and when the number being divided is an odd number then the remainder is 1.
